Call Richard First ! Do not do anything with the Nursing Board until you talk with Richard.

Do not agree to or sign anything until you talk with Richard (who responds almost immediately)!!! I had already started rehab classes recommended by the Nursing Board (they lied and said I had to take them), but never sent in the signed document admitting that I had an alcohol problem (the nursing ...board tells you you have to sign it to enter their program), the problem is, you don't have to enter the program, you can fight it. Richard then contacted the Board, handled all communications, communicated to me on what to expect and how to answer the Nursing evaluator. It all worked perfectly. I received a communication that the Nursing board is no longer forcing me to enter their program and have closed my case. Saved my career and was worth every dime!

Defending myself against the BON

I was accused of diverting drugs from my work place because my name was spit out on a report that tagged me with “red flags.” I explained each of these red flags along with a negative drug and alcohol test that same day. There were no patterns, no witnesses, nothing to go on because I was innoce...nt. Despite this I was fired from my job and reported to the BON. At this point I realized I could not handle this alone. I interviewed many lawyers in my area and as soon as I spoke to Attorney Hark I knew he was the one I needed to be on my side. He helped me to understand PNAP and realize that was not the choice for me bc I was innocent. He came with me to my interview with a BON investigator. He was amazing during the meeting and it felt so good after everything I had been through to take a break from fighting alone and let Richard fight for me. In fact, he didn’t just fight for me, we won!! My case was dropped and no disciplinary actions were put on my license. After working so hard to get my RN Attorney Hark made sure I kept it with no strikes against it and proved to the world that I was innocent just like I had been saying since day one. It is amazing to watch him work, he is unbelievable. He fights hard for his clients and it shows from the moment you meet him.

Nurse with DUI

In 2015 I received a DUI and was accepted into the PA ARD program. I graduated nursing school in Dec of 2017, but because the ARD was not expunged I had to disclose it to the PA SBON. The SBON decided that "I may suffer from impairment" because I had to disclose my prior DUI. The SBON then wanted me ...to release all my personal information to a PNAP assessor and come in for an evaluation. I was doing some research one the PNAP program and did not find many positive posts. As I continued to search about the program I came across Richard Harks Blog. This blog had so much information about PNAP and the way they trap people in the program. I decided to hire Richard in March of 2018. April of 2018 I was assessed by a Doctor. May 10th, 2018 I received my ATT. May 18th, 2018 I took the boards and passed in 75 questions. I would say if you are a nurse or nursing school graduate with a similar situation HIRE Richard. It will be well worth the money.

Medical

It is my distinct pleasure to write a review for Richard Hark Esq. Mr. Hark took on my case for me to gain medical licensure in the state of New Jersey. This after I was unsuccessful with a prior attorney. The end result could not have been better and I am now licensed to practice medicine in the ...State of New Jersey, only due to the expertise, and vast experience he has with licensure and medical boards. He is extremely easy to work with and compassionate. He returns calls promptly and makes himself available; even after the day is finished. I recommend him without reservation and because of his expertise, I have my life back and am able to practice my profession once again!! Simply the best attorney!

Thank you!

Mr Hark is extremely knowledgeable when handling situations with the PA board of nursing. I graduated and was completely unprepared to receive letters threatening the license I didn't yet have. Thankfully we found Mr. Hark online and after reading his blog and reading horror stories from other nurses..., I hired him. He was right about everything and guided me through the process seamlessly. Times were very stressful, and talking with Mr Hark gave me confidence in his abilities to resolve my situation and reduced the anxiety surrounding it. Do not deal with the board alone, hire Mr Hark, he will help protect your license. He came through for me and now I'm a registered nurse!! I cannot offer enough thanks!!

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"I have known Richard Hark for years and he is an outstanding attorney. While he handled criminal defense matters for many years, he has shifted his practice focus to administrative law where he assists professionals (nurses, doctors, lawyers, etc) when they are being disciplined by their respective licensing board. This is usually as a result of contacts with the criminal justice system or drug/alcohol problems. Despite the shift in practice, the outcomes are the same. I have seen him successfully fight the most serious criminal charges and I now refer professional clients to him when their criminal case overlaps with their professional license. He has become extremely skilled in a very sensitive area where clients' livelihoods are on the line. This is no easy task but Richard's combination of legal smarts, common sense, and empathy for his client's plight make him a perfect fit. I strongly endorse Mr. Hark."
