This is my second review of Mike after custody decision was finalized. The first one was prior to trial and appeal. I hired Mike when I was in disastrous situation. I had an OP against me, I could not get access to my daughter, petitions for the sole custody and child support was filed by my ex. After the first court appearance with Mike, OP was removed and I got temporary residential Custody. Right after, my ex created a criminal case against me. Mike helped me promptly to get all criminal charges dismissed and I got full temporary custody of the child. Custody battle last over 2 years and all this time Mike was a grate help for me. After Custody hearing that by itself last for a year I got permanent full Custody of the child despite that we got a new judge. Again, it would be impossible to achieve without Mike’s A year later, we won an appeal filed by my ex. It is not very common in our days that fathers get full custody especially when mothers do not overuse drugs or alcohol but I got it with grate Mike’s help. Mike often gave me advises that saved me time and money. For example, he ended up the hearing right in time despite that I thought more time is required to bring more witnesses to convince the judge. Mike available when I need him and answers to my messages / phone calls in time. His promptness saved me in number of situations in my high-conflict divorce. He was transparent to me, did not hide anything. Mike is a good strategist. For example, I accepted one of his advises that was not beneficial to me in a short term but played well at the end. Mike was transparent to me, did not hide anything. It does not mean that I put my fate in lawyer’s hands and stop thinking myself. I knew what I wanted and use Mike’s sharp mind, professional skills and experience of a trial lawyer in order to achieve the desirable outcome. Even now, after custody is finalized Mike supports me by providing advise when I need it. I give my thumbs up to Mike!

I personally had experience with almost 8 attorneys , I had good ones, famous names as well as bad ones and so so attorneys. When I met Michael , I was amazed that attorney like him exists. He presented as extremely warm, caring, extremely honest, helpful and wonderful person. From professional stand point, he is aggressive , hard-working attorney, he fights for his clients like for his own family. He understands your case from the first moment. He deeply analyzes and develop a strategy to win. He does not make under the table deals with other attorneys like it is common now a days. He is on your site. He returns phone calls and messages the same day. He understands your case. He works quickly and does not waste your time and your money at all. This is extremely rare now a days. All he cares is about your case, and he works at his maximum capacity, he does everything above and beyond. He cares about his reputation and your case. He truly does his best for a very reasonable price. My regret was that I did not meet his in the very beginning of the process. I would safe tons of money and nerves and I would win the case and get everything I wish and deserve. Michael agreed to work on a very complicated appeal for me. Many firms refuse to take and previous firm lost the appeal that Michael perfected. Michael gave me a great price, payment plan and he was answering all my questions , as well as my family phones calls. I cannot thank Michael enough for his dedication, hard work, professionalism as well as caring personality who was such a great support, encouraging. Michael gave me his hand when I was drowning and I will be always remember this. I highly recommend him from the bottom of my heart. Having gone through a prior divorce some years back, I needed a new lawyer. My prior lawyer retired. While my prior lawyer was okay; Michael was and is par excellence when it comes to professionalism, knowledge and legal advice. He has helped me countless times to navigate the murky waters left over from my previous divorce as well as providing representation and support for current matrimonial actions. Before I hired my previous attorney, I had interviewed someone else. I found her poorly attentive to my needs. Since the retirement of my former attorney I interviewed another lawyer but found him woefully unprepared to answer the complex legal issues I was facing. I know it is hard and somewhat expensive to find the right person, I can honestly say that I have worked with three prior attorneys before finding him and he is by far the best I have found yet. What makes Michael so good are a few things that I would like to specify: First and foremost, he is a very nice person and I feel comfortable with him. Secondly, he has a deep knowledge of the law and a lot of experience in the court system. He knows everybody which is very important. Thirdly, he is very strategic in his approach. Obviously, he works both sides of the matrimonial issue so with each legal step he calculates what is the countermeasure the opposing team will to based on his experience. I bet he is very good in chess! Lastly, Michael is a straight shooter. He has told me many times, "Forget it doc, you're not gonna win on that one." Think about that. He could have easily said, as many less scrupulous lawyers would do, "Let's enter this or that motion, and I think you have a good chance...." That would have definitely have brought him more income, but he has morals and will tell you what is the right or wrong move for your individual situation without bankrupting you financially and emotionally. Finally, he is not all about clocking this and clocking that. Granted, he needs to make a living and he is worth his fee, but he is not going to nickel and dime you to death. You will not regret your decision to hire Michael Barrows.

I hired Mike at one of the most frustrating moments in my life to fight a bogus TOP fight by my ex girlfriend that kept me away from our common child. Mike fight this TOP the right way that I was able to get temporary Full Residential and 50 percent Legal custody of the child. Later on after my ex with her relative set me up and got me arrested Mike was able to get for me temporary full Residential and full Legal custody of the child. He also fought for me in Criminal court and got all the charges dismissed. My case is far from over and Mike continuously helps me to navigate through the process. He is very busy (that is a sign that he is in high demand) but he always find the time to answer my email or text messages. He is reachable by the phone as well. I will update my review as my case progress. I feel that I made the right choice by retaining Mike

I hired Mr Barrows to help me with my divorce. Mr Barrow was always available for advices and he helped me all the way through this difficult process. I couldn't imagine have gotten a better settlement in so little time.
