She is fantastic! Kept in communication throughout the entire process, supportive, understanding and fought HARD for us! We were blessed to work with her and can't thank her enough for everything that she's done for our family!
Ronna DeLoe is hands down, one of the very best attorneys out there! She was always quick to respond to us either by email or phone and worked tirelessly to make sure that the truth was told and presented it perfectly. We'll always be thankful for Ronna and cannot find the words to express how much we appreciate everything she has done for us!

I have been practicing law for 43 years. I have been an Attorney for the Child since 2001 and was also an Attorney for the Child as a Law Guardian in the 1980s. I have handled many appeals and have argued cases in the Appellate Division, the Appellate Term, and the New York State Court of Appeals. I am admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. I excel at brief writing, research, and oral argument. I used to represent all types of litigants when I was in private practice. I will represent clients in appeals, and I will write a brief or memo of law for clients. I love representing children and am a strong advocate for their best interests. I also represent adults on appeal.

As indicated, I will write briefs (trial and appellate) and memoranda of law for clients. Please contact me if interested.

Simply The Best
First. I want to thank Ms. DeLoe for her expertise and professionalism. There is good, there is better and there is BEST.
Ms. DeLoe is simply the best.
After fighting in the Family Court for ten years and won the right to adopt our granddaughter whom we raised in our home since she was three days old (her mother died after giving birth to her) My granddaughter's father decided to appeal the adoption.
We were granted legal guardianship of our granddaughter seven to eight years before we decided to adopt her. Her father from the day we were granted guardianship, never visited, called or supported her financially. He appealed the adoption and our granddaughter was very concerned that she would have to leave the only home and family she knew. We were referred to
Ms. DeLoe an appellate attorney. She called and had a conversation with our granddaughter and assured her that she would fight for her to stay in the home where she is loved, well cared for and safe.
We waited and waited as the courts were closed due to the pandemic.
It was a Friday morning, we woke up to the best news we have had in eleven years. Ms. DeLoe had sent us an email with the message, we WON! Our nightmare was finally over.
Ms. DeLoe is an inspiration and a genuine advocate for the rights of all children.
Sincerely

Best advocate for children
Ms Deloe was an incredible advocate for my children. They were very comfortable speaking with her. She was open and honest with me and the children and took the time to study the case and explain along the way. Her knowledge of the law was impressive and she was dedication, detail oriented and focused. I could not have been more pleased with her professionalism and motivation. She fought so hard for my children and was able to get the best possible outcome to keep the kids safe. I am so grateful for what she has done for me and the kids and has restored our faith in the justice system.

Dedicated
Ronna represented my foster daughter during a parental termination appeal. It was a very long, scary and difficult time for our family as she had become a very important part of lives and we hoped to adopt her. Ronna did an outstanding job of representing her and finding out what was truly In her best interest. She went above and beyond by working around our schedules to talk to her and to us. She was diligent in her review of the history and facts surrounding the case. Ronna ensured everything was covered and was always available to answer any questions we had. Her dedication showed in how she represented her through the process. She was a vital part in securing my daughter’s and our happiness.

A great Advocate
From the start I was very impressed with Ms. DeLoe's focus on doing the best for my children. She listened to them and made them feel at ease. She understood how to talk to, and listen to, children, and understood it was their lives that the previous court decision had affected and it was them who would live with the result of the appeal she was handling.
As well as taking time with my children, she clearly spent a lot more time in the preparation of all the documents she submitted to the Court. Her understanding of the case, and her attention to detail, were most impressive. She was clearly going to do the best for her clients and time was not a factor. This is an admirable quality and one that has a personal cost. The time she gave to this has to be commended.
Finally I want to say that her work paid off and the Court had all that was needed to rule in my children's favour. I would highly recommend Ms. DeLoe to anybody and am be certain she will be a keen, dedicated, and successful advocate. She has a mixture of the essential qualities for any great advocate: She is intelligent, knowledgeable, understanding, and motivated by a sincere desire to do what is in her client's best interest. These qualities do not always come together, and I am most grateful to Ms. DeLoe for all she has done for my children.

Great advocate for children!
I have had the privilege of recently working with Ms. DeLoe and wholeheartedly recommend her services. She is an amazing communicator and kept us informed each step of the process as the appeals case moved through the court. Ms. DeLoe truly cares for the children that she represents and this is evidenced by her interview style, her diligence, and the careful follow up that she completes for the children that she represents.

Outstanding Attorney
I was so pleased to find an attorney who took the time to explain my situation to me and found myself having knowledge of the specific components that I needed to understand. I highly recommend Ms. Ronna L. Deloe! She is the best Family Appeals Attorney and will be an asset to anyone's case.

Appeals Attorney | Jan 15
Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
"I've known Ronna for several years in her capacity as an attorney for children who practices primarily at the appellate level. I serve as an attorney for children mainly in the Family Court; I also represent my clients when their cases go up on appeal. Ronna has generously shared her time and knowledge with me when I have sought her advice about appellate practice, and I have always appreciated her insights and assistance. I endorse her as a wonderful colleague and a fun person to know."
Appeals Attorney | Sep 06
Relationship: Worked together on matter
"I endorse this lawyer. I have been a trial lawyer for over 45 years but do not generally handle appeals. Ronna has written the appeals on two matters, both as respondent and appellant, that originated in the Family Court in which I was trial counsel, and been successful in each instance. Her knowledge of the substantive law is impressive, her research solid and her written advocacy, persuasive. Her knowledge of, and insight into the trial record after she reviewed it was comforting. Having not spoken to her much about the case beforehand, I was surprised with the depth of her understanding of the issues on appeal. I am happy to endorse her to my colleagues."
