Because I didn’t have any experience in purchasing a car, I felt I was totally taken advantage of. I purchased a car from a dealership I had been leasing from for years. Imagine my surprise when this dealership’s finance manager, with whom I had been dealing with for so long, intentionally overcharge...d me, and then told me I had signed the papers; as if there wasn’t anything I could do about it. All the while they tread the thin line between legal and illegal, hoping you won’t notice where they actually crossed it. They wear you down by keeping you in the dealership for 3 hours waiting to close, and then have you sign in 48 places, all to their psychological advantage.
