About Emanuel
Biography
My parents brought me to the States with refugee visas when I was but a year old. I attended Francis Lewis High School, graduated summa cum laude a semester early from St. John's University College of Professional Studies ranking 20 out of 795 with a 3.94 GPA (majoring in Legal Studies, an American Bar Association approved program), and subsequently graduated a semester early from St. John's University School of Law.
At my previous firm, I represented individuals and businesses in virtually all aspects of employment law, practiced in state and federal court as well as federal, state, and local administrative agencies, and counseled others as they worked through important career decisions and related contracts.
At the Milman Labuda Law Group, I continue to work in labor & employment practice but my focus has shifted to representing businesses and management. In doing so, I counsel and advise employers on preventative measures to protect them from legal claims by employees, assist in compliance with applicable laws, and - if necessary - vigorously defend my clients in agencies and in court.
