This review is intended to provide an accurate opinion of my perspective hiring Jennifer. That being said, Jennifer was hired to help me with a case against my landlord. Hiring her tuned out to be a big lapse in judgment and what I believe, a waste of money. After many court delays, which she seemed ...more than happy to charge me for, my case was eventually dismissed. Shockingly, I was told by the judge at one point that my paperwork was filed incorrectly, which Jennifer actually blamed me for, and that we needed to come back after the mistake was corrected. When it finally came time to present my case Jennifer was like a fish out of water in the court room which was even more frustrating. The advice she gave me and the things she told me to do back-fired on me. Also, bills were not sent on time, despite my requests. After the dismissal, she hit me with another large unexpected bill. Very outrageous for the bad result and representation I was provided. I honestly would have been less upset about losing my case if I felt that I at least had been adequately represented. After this unfortunate experience, I believe that I would have been much better off representing myself. I strongly advise choosing different legal representation.

Do not waste your time and money on this attorney. Jennifer turned my case into a horrible mess through her indifference, lack of preparation, and unprofessional attitude. Once she had my money, that was it. She just went through the motions.. Whatever happened, happened. She made NO effort to fight ...for me! When I had to consult with other lawyers afterwards to clean up the mess she created, they all knew the story - Apparently, many of Jennifer's clients had to do the same thing. I wasn't the only one who had problems with her. Very unethical behavior on her part. I have her invoices saved in case Avvo wishes to verify my review.

Hiring Jennifer was a huge mistake. In my opinion, she is not a competent attorney. I am very skeptical of the positive reviews, many of which were written on the same day or just days apart...and very "cliche." I should have looked further into it before hiring her. As some others have already stat...ed, Jennifer's primary objective is getting as much money as she can. This includes over-billing and stretching out a case unnecessarily. And although I might have overlooked this if she was an effective attorney, her performance was extremely poor and her understanding of case law I found to be mediocre at best. She was pushed around and intimated by the opposing counsel. She gets defensive and argumentative if you question her. A far cry from the original demeanor she had at the initial consult. I too had to hire another attorney to correct all her mistakes. If I could give 0 stars I would. Normally I don't post reviews, but considering what my negative experience was with Jennifer, I felt like I had no choice but to post an honest and reflective review. I would strongly recommend seeking council elsewhere if you value your case. I hope this serves as a guide to others.

My lawsuit got stretched out unnecessarily and her knowledge in this matter of this particular suit is limited in my opinion. I do not believe that she knows this type of suit like she led me to believe. She did not negotiate or talk to the other side to avoid me spending more money on a written sui...t a second time. I was told by another lawyer who I hired later on that this could have been totally be avoided and saved me much money had she asked the defense lawyer. The other side agreed to it and had told us that she never asked them about it. I had to pay her extra for this redudant work. She did not Perform a thorough reading of my lease and totally missed the point of argument to the landlord. I had to seek legal counsel elsewhere and hired someone else to help me settle a case that I could have won with much less loss. It was a waste of time and she did not represent me on what I wanted to claim but ended up stretching the suit out. I was very disappointed when I learned of what she did and felt the impact of it. And esp. after I spent more money on another lawyer to finish the case because she did not Accomplish anything while hired but rather had upset the other side instead.
