I believe everyone deserves a chance. Everyone deserves achance to defend himself or herself and explain what needs to be explained. Ihave spent a lot of time overseas and have many friends and family from othercountries. When I describe the opportunity that Americans have to stand up forthemselves, to defend themselves and to challenge the State, my foreign friendsare always amazed and envious. Receiving those reactions, understanding theuniqueness of our justice system, and appreciating those opportunities make meproud to do what I do.
Aftergraduating from Pepperdine University School of Law, I became an AssistantProsecutor in Somerset County, NJ. I handled criminal and juvenile prosecutionsof all natures from the investigation stages through trial. I argued numerouscases in the Appellate Division and submitted briefs to the New Jersey Supreme Court.
Whilea law student I had several eye-opening experiences that helped me gain myappreciation for the law and our justice system. I was a judicial intern to theHonorable Katharine S. Hayden of the Federal District Court in Newark, NJ and Iwas a legal intern at the Ministry of Justice of the State of Israel. Theseplaces showed me people, cases and laws of various philosophies and differentbackgrounds.
Igained my bachelors degree in History and Journalism & Mass Media fromRutgers University, where I graduated the University with Honors and from mymajors with Highest Honors. I rowed varsity crew all four years.
In immigration cases, criminal defense, and drunk driving my clients are often fighting uphill battles. The outcomes can never be guaranteed and all the pressure andstress is on them because they stand to lose the most. For that reason Ihold nothing back. Each client is my most important client. Every client has mycell phone number and can call me at anytime with questions. I have severaloffices and try to accommodate clients by meeting as close to their homes orbusinesses as possible, and on days and at times where they will not have tomiss work.
Ihave the legal knowledge, courtroom presence and relentless work ethic toprovide you with the representation you need in a personable manner so thatyour experience with the legal system is as painless and as successful aspossible.

Works hard and is nice
When I married my husband we had very little money so I needed to work. My grandmother was also very sick and I wanted to see her before she died. Mr. Mark got my work authorization and travel authorization very fast, and I got my green card in less than one year. He called me back right away every t...

Seems he doesn't pay attention to all cases
He totally screwed me around on my Immigration case. He went behind my, back as his client he never consulted me on the decision he made in my case. So much so I've reached out to the American Bar Association about his actions in my case, in getting a court decision I never saw coming because this ...
This person has two convictions including an a robbery and a drug conviction. This person had no legal status in the United States. This person wanted to apply for relief pursuant to the Convention Against Torture ("CAT") based on an incident that happened over 30 years ago and for which there was no proof. As such, this person had no chance of winning. I explained that to this person and informed this person we would try to close removal proceedings so s/he would not be deported, even though s/he would not have legal status. We must have explained this to this person because s/he obtained the letters and evidence we needed to make this request. We could not have made this request unless s/he participated in the request. The DHS lawyer said this was the most difficult approval she had ever done and agreed to terminate the court proceedings so this person would not be deported. Upon sharing the good news that this person would not be deported, s/he became angry. I will choose to pretend that this person said thank you for our hard work that prevented deportation and respond with, "You're welcome."

I had unpleasant experience
When I hired Mr. Mark, he seemed very confident that my case is almost guaranteed and he was expecting to get me refunded from the plaintiff because she filed a very unsubstantiated false report. He even said I should travel to court by first class air-tickets because the plaintiff will most likely r...
First of all, thank you for acknowledging my honest accounting. Now, let’s address your other points. You hired me because you had a criminal complaint against you by a classmate in your university. She was represented by the prosecutor. In addition to criminal charges, you each had complaints filed with the university, for which you had separate counsel. My job as a criminal defense attorney is for the charges against you to be dismissed. The charges were dismissed because I convinced the prosecutor to convince her to dismiss the charges. In other words, we accomplished exactly what you wanted and needed to accomplish. The resolution was not informal; it was 100% formal and the charges were dismissed on the record with the judge’s approval. It is petty and inaccurate, and likely indicative of why you have conflicts with classmates and professors, to complain that I did not fight for you and that your case was not resolved satisfactorily. When your case completed, I refunded the unused portion of your retainer. I certainly never told you to fly first class anywhere--why would you as you lived in Newark and the case was in Newark. I certainly never told you she would have to pay for it--there is no mechanism in criminal defense to force someone to pay for your tickets. These comments are either blatant lies or confused memories of conversations with someone else. Now, several months later, the woman has filed additional complaints against you. I have no idea what these complaints are about, where they are filed, why they are filed. They have nothing to do with my prior representation. By refunding your unused retainer, my representation formally ended. So, you contacted me and said there were new complaints. I told you, as I would tell any client, and as any lawyer would tell any client, that I cannot advise you on anything without having the seen the documentation and any further representation would require additional fees. If you think I am supposed to be your lawyer for life without having to pay me because I successfully got your previous charges dismissed, your are mistaken. Lastly, the fact that you contacted me about the new complaint seems like convincing evidence that you were satisfied with my initial representation and professionalism, and that this review is only revenge for not agreeing to represent you without knowing what the complaint is about and without fees. I wish you all the best in dealing with the new complaints.

Unethical Attorney Behavior
My oat ceremony was on may 31,2013 . on april 30,2013 i was arrested for drug paraphernalia and on may 16,2013 my case was dismissed . I hired Mark so he can schduale a appointment with the( USCIS )supervisor handling my case so he can gave them Official court certified dispositioning and ask them i...
This was an unfortunate circumstance, that sometimes happens when dealing with USCIS. I went to speak with a supervisor at USCIS, explained the circumstances, and showed him the disposition. That supervisor said it would not be a problem as long as this person brought the certified disposition on the date of oath ceremony. This person did not want to retain me to appear with him at the oath ceremony, so I could not file a G-28 or go with him on that. On the day of the interview, a different supervisor was working and had a different policy on what needed to be done. Getting different answers from different people at USCIS is a common problem and is one of the biggest reasons it is necessary to retain a lawyer to represent you for your entire case and not just to address small parts. This approach greatly limits what any lawyer can do to help.
