“Reopened >10yr old removal order for client w/ grand theft conviction >$45k, violated vol. departure, and multiple failed prior motions to reopen. Suspended mainly for expressing regret to have represented client. Trial judge ruled lack of breach of confidentiality. It's still my belief, punishment was largely motivated by my bar complaint against veteran bar prosecutor, who subs. "resigned" from the Fla bar after alleged misrepresentations to the Supreme Ct.. “It was alleged that I threatened the poor opposing husband, who filed 2 fraudulent marriage annulment cases to deport his wife, with criminal prosecution. Husband filed complaint after ordered to pay $12k of my client's/ wife attorney's fees. Allegedly, I claimed to be a specialist (used "specialize") when stating on the same page that I am not an expert. The referee, who later recused, relied on testimony of opposing counsel, later disbarred after 23 complaints and time in prison for hit &run.”
