Eric is a very knowledgeable attorney. It is not surprise he has so many positive reviews, because he has delivered. The same was in my case. We successfully overcame the hurdle of removal of condition. Although it took a long time, thanks to USCIS delays, Eric’s instincts were mostly right all along.... During the course of my case, he and his staff have been very responsive and usually responded the same day to my queries. He is incredibly patient, cool demeanor, straight forward, objective and practical. On the day of my interview, his firm represented me in a professional manners. We had such a "pleasant experience" from this lawyer. After a brief 30 minute "free consultation", he charged 100 as a deposit out of 850 for a "review" of our paperworks for immigration. However we decided not to hire him because after a research, we felt that we do not need to hire any lawyer a...t this point. So I went back to the office to pick up our documents that we left with him, first time we went he said he doesn't have time to go and search for it and asked us to come back, so i went back the next day. A young assistant showed up and said that he said that we owe another $50 deposit if we want our own docs back to us. Wait a minute… he didn't say anything about the additional 50. and he lied to my husband that he did tell me ahead of time about the 150 for a consultation. Wait a minute, in his website, it clearly states that the consultation is free. maybe he thought i was such a dumb immigrant who doesn't understand English. Well Im not. Not only did he make up of a fee charge of 150 sending his assistant who doesn't even know noting about the case to talk to me (avoided to talk to us in person), instead he would always send his assistant to communicate. My husband even had to leave a fake name so that he would return to his call because he was clearly avoiding to talk. I really don't know where this charge comes from although it maybe a small charge but thats not the point. We are clients and it is a lawyer's responsibility to inform us about any occurring fees upon consultation. WE feel betrayed by this lawyer when we were seeking for a lawyer thats trustworthy. A trust comes first when it comes to hiring a lawyer.

I came to Eric Mark's office with my son, when Christina (a different lawyer) said he wasn't in the office we tried to leave. She then called him on the phone to give me peace of mind that he would handle our case. That's what he stated when we spoke on the phone. Cristina gave me some forms to fill ...and return. I did not return the intake forms right away because as I told Cristina I was waiting for documents. I called once and left a message for Cristina back in December, now is February and I'm still waiting for that call. I returned he forms, to which Cristina said would review them. EIGHT DAYS LATER, I had to send another email because there was NO answer. Eric called that day to say his office was short in personnel and couldn't get to it but will look. After that, someone else (Carolina) requested info, some of which was already given to them, i.e. Resident Alien # for co-sponsor. After giving some of the same info again, she asked me to come in a pay a different amount and with different fees than what Cristina and Eric had said in the beginning, reason why I wanted to talk to either one, Cristina responded thru email but refused to make a phone call. The secretary said I had to come and PAY but refused to tell me about any other fees, stating Eric will let me know AFTER I pay the next $1135. she said I will come ONLY to PAY and sign. I have requested a phone call 4 different times, even in writing, I'm still to receive one. I gave him $600 deposit, he has not giving me the courtesy of a phone call, now she demands another $1,100+ and still I can't get to talk to someone live. We have not met personally, he has not answered ANY of my questions, and still refuses to call, yet have time to write an email refusing to refund the deposit. I don't have any confidence in his services as his office has emailed me several times just requesting for me to come in and PAY more money, even when they haven't provided ANY services. He will take your money and 5 months later still will NOT HAVE THE DECENCY TO TALK TO YOU IN PERSON OR ON YHE PHONE.. RUN AWAY from this guy
