Herb, stepped into a very difficult situation, where I had received incorrect advice from another professional, that created complex issues with the IRS in my Ch. 13 case. He approached the situation calmly, rationally, and with great skill. He essentially dropped everything he had going on, so he could help me, file appropriate paperwork with Bankruptcy Court, and successfully argued my position that not only allowed me to move on with my life, but allowed me to do so with dignity and with much, much less stress. If you have a complex and/or difficult bankruptcy problem, Herb should be your first, and only phone call!

Herb helped my wife and I through a Chapter 13 filing. Extremely knowledgeable, thoughtful, and tenacious. My case had lasted longer than I could have anticipated, but Herb was focused and determined to get us the best outcome. His ability to explain complex legal terms and concepts in layman's terms and offer up options in tough circumstances was top-notch. As terrific as Herb is as an attorney, he's an even better human being! Kind and caring but tough and realistic. I give him my highest recommendation and would enthusiastically advice my family and closest friends to call him if they need assistance.

Came to Herb at a tough time in my life. The idea of filing bankruptcy is never an easy one to swallow. Wasn't sure what to expect, but went into it with dread.
He met me at my work, the very same day I called him. He talked to me like a real person, not just his client. Went over every detail and every question I had. He wasn't rushed, and seemed to genuinely be happy to help.
The entire process, from meeting with Herb to working with those in his office was seamless (except for me taking forever to get him documents) but his office made sure to keep on top of me to make sure I did finally get them in on time (somewhat!) That was exactly what I needed, and with each *please get me these documents ASAP, you were supposed to send them in two weeks ago* email, they were polite, professional, happy to answer questions and a pleasure to deal with.
I'd recommend her to any family member, friend, acquaintance, or any random internet stranger reading this.
An excellent attorney, a pleasure to work with and a genuinely good guy who wants to help his clients. 6 stars (they only let me give him 5 though)

I consulted with Attorney Initially due to a complex case, he spoke with me a few times and was so compassionate, respectful and understood my situation. I hired him as I have a disability, had a complex case and needed an expert in chapter 13, divorce related issues from new laws dealing with same sex marriage. He was wonderful!!!!!

I had a bankruptcy case that went from bad to worse. Herbert Weinberg stepped up to the plate, handled everything, and even found the right people overseas who could help clear things up.
When you're in a bind (or if you're not), Herbert Weinberg's the one to call.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.

It was a pleasure working with Herb. He Is very personable and professional, and easy to work with. I felt comfortable very step of the way. Very satisfied with the quality of work that Herb did on my Amended chapter 7 Bankruptcy filing. The forms and motion were very well prepared and just what the case needed.

I came to Herb with a decisive view of what I wanted. After collecting the facts, Herb steered me in another direction. The results were much better - and I could not have done it without his expert help and experience.

We hired Herb a few weeks ago to assist us with a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy. Herb is knowledgeable and always answers my calls within minutes. He always explains things clearly and I know he will do the best job he can for us.

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
Herb is incredibly well versed in the many nuances of Bankruptcy Law, indeed, other attorneys seek his opinion on complex matters. He aggressively represents his clients, always in a professional manner. Those qualities and characteristics have earned him respect from other attorneys and, I believe, the judges. He is an excellent attorney, and I endorse him.
Susan Grossberg, Bankruptcy and debt Attorney
Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter
I strongly endorse Herb. I have known Herb for many years and find he does an outstanding job for his clients. I have referred several difficult cases to Herb as he has the patience and creativity to tackle the prickliest of cases and work with the debtor until a feasible and agreeable a solution can be found. A true mensch.
