In the city of Boston there are thousands of rental agreements between tenants and landlords. Almost all of these agreements will never need to be reviewed by a lawyer, but in some cases, such as mine, a lawyer is needed. I came to Rhonda for advice after my landlord had presented a bill to me for ...water usage dating back almost 3 years. In my lease agreement, I was responsible for water and sewer charges but I felt as though the landlord had not presented the bill to me in a timely manor and that is why I reached out to Rhonda. I sat down with her 1 on 1 and she went over various state laws and stipulations that the landlord had violated. She then sent my landlord a very thorough, three page letter stating why I was not responsible for the outstanding balance. Fast forward a few weeks and the landlord agreed that they had mismanaged the billing and they would not be demanding any payment for the past due balance.
