I am a full time certified Mediator who guides clients to craft financial and parenting agreements that meet their essential interests and which can save them money and future heartache. When parents are divorcing, I hep them focus on the best interests of their children and how to preserve the parental relationship.
I worked for eight years in the trenches of litigation in a large downtown Boston law firm, and saw people waste tremendous amounts of time and money litigating. I also saw the emotional toll that litigants face. Consequently I switched to mediation. I worked for one of the founders of divorce mediation in Massachusetts from whom I learned how to successfully mediate many apparently irresolvable conflicts.
I have a large family with many strong personalities. I also am an active volunteer in my children's school and community. Within my community, I have been sought out by people, including my Rabbi, to help resolve disputes where great sensitivity, creativity and discretion is needed.
What is most rewarding to me is when couples who have not been able to communicate for years, are given the tools through mediation to learn how to resolve disputes themselves and to begin to learn how to parent together as they are living apart.

"Miriam is a mediator who works hard to get the possible result for her clients. She has had me help her several times help clients in financial distress so that they can explore using bankruptcy in conjunction with their divorce to maximize their fresh start. It is refreshing change from the many divorced people who literally could have protected as much several hundred thousand dollars if they had coordinated their divorce with bankruptcy."
"Having worked with Miriam for many years, I know her to be a dedicated and hardworking attorney-mediator, helping hundreds of families to reach fair and equitable agreements. Miriam has devoted more than a decade to the exclusive practice of family mediation. As a result she has developed the skills necessary to guide couples through the complexities of separation and divorce in a caring and effective manner."
"I highly recommend Miriam as a mediator for divorce and other family situations. She has become a trusted family law colleague, and I admire her compassion, intelligence, and patience. Another thing that has always impressed me is how effectively she works with and adapts her approach to the unique dynamics and needs of each set of parties. Miriam is truly dedicated to helping people resolve their differences in ways that work best for them."
"I enthusiastically endorse Miriam as a top notch family law mediator. Miriam is smart, savvy, sensitive, and exhibits true common sense in working to resolve difficult conflicts in the most emotionally sensitive area imaginable. She is dedicated and tenacious in working with families to come to an agreement. Miriam is a consummate professional and I have found her to be an invaluable resource in all matters relating to family law."
