Description: Officer clocks Client speeding - 47 in 30 - and initiates traffic stop. Client ignores officer's lights, speeds home, and tries to run into house, ignoring officer's shouts to stop. When confronted by officer on front porch and asked why commands to stop were ignored, Client admits: "I know I screwed up. I shouldn't have driven. I'm drunk." Officer reports strong odor of alcohol; watery eyes; slurred speech; uncooperativeness; further admission of being under the influence of alcohol; and refusal of all field sobriety tests and breath test. Charged with DWI, second offense. Case taken to trial.
