Professional, Personable, and Passionate

Sam McGee represented me in a personal injury case in which I was the plaintiff. Throughout the legal process, Sam was not only a true professional but also a genuinely great person. He is personable and takes the time to get to know his clients, and he will also tell you all about himself, his life,... and his family. He is also evidently passionate about the work he does and the people he represents. I never once felt blindsided by anything in this case, and I owe that to Sam’s knowledge and expertise. He was transparent about the things I could expect, and though there were many delays due to no fault of our own, he would always give me immediate updates when there was news. In the end, thanks to Sam, we reached a settlement that I was very satisfied with. Specifically for victims of sexual abuse, I must say Sam is an incredible ally and will go to bat for you behind closed doors and in front of a courtroom. I cannot truly say enough kind words about this man. Though this entire process has been excruciating, I am very thankful for his guidance and expertise. Also, I must thank his paralegal, Kris Lawton, who was a tremendous help!!

Excellent, honest and candid representation

Sam McNeil provided compassionate, thorough and practical legal advice as he helped me with a personal injury case. He and his team were always responsive in answering questions or concerns as this is a very scary process for an injured party. Mr. McNeil has a very engaging and laid back style which ...put me at ease while discussing some highly personal details. I truly felt like Mr. McNeil cared about me as an individual and would do everything possible to help me win my case. It felt more like talking to a friend rather than an attorney. He was always honest when he gave advice even when it was not the most favorable for me. I appreciated his candor. I have recommended him repeatedly as I felt that he keeps his clients best interests in mind in an area of the law that often does not. Sam inspired complete and total confidence and lived up to my expectations. He settled my case, protecting me from a very traumatic experience in the court room and was able to negotiate the amount that I needed to cover the expenses that I incurred while recovering. Hopefully, I will never again need his services, but he would be the only attorney I would call if I should!

The best, most personable attorney ever!

Where do we begin? I researched attorneys for months only to be recommended to Marcus (also known as Sam) McGee. There were never any promises and we had been told in the past by other attorneys that they would review our case so we knew there was a chance they may not take the case on, therefore w...e were prepared. After reviewing our case he decided to take on our case. Our son had a delayed diagnosis with the military and as a result suffered severe brain damage. My husband served honorably for 8 in the United States Air Force and upon his exit we discovered our son had an undiagnosed case of hydrocephalus. Marcus and he team were there for us every step of the way and treated us like friends, for that we will always be grateful. I could go on and on about his character and experience. We ended up settling with the government to be able to care for our son. Thank you Marcus (Sam) McGee (and his assistant Kris Lawton) for taking on our case and working with us.

Simply the best

Mr. Mcgee and his partner, Gary Jackson, handled our trial in US Federal Court in 2011. We could not have been more pleased with the work performed which led to a major victory over one of the largest corporations in America. It was a David vs Goliath story, but Goliath didn't see Mr. Mcgee coming. N...ot only did he do an amazing job, he truly cared about me and our company.

"Sam was my supervising attorney and mentor all throughout law school. I’ve seen him captivate juries, and persuade judges to rule in his favor where most courts are divided. He cuts to the core and quickly learns who his clients are so he can understand their struggles and tell their stories the way they should be told. Sam is a master of trials and appeals, and I’m glad I get to learn from him."

"Sam makes me want to live in North Carolina to learn manners, not an easy thing to say for a native Texan. He is the quintessential Southern Gentleman, who walks softly and carries a big stick. The big stick he carries is the depth of caring he has for his clients. I met Sam at the Trial Lawyers College where he learned to take his caring and skills to a level that only he can match. I would trust him with my life and in a certain sense i have. If you are in North Carolina and need a lawyer he is the only Counsel you will need."
