I can only express in so many words, on how much I appreciate all the help, understanding and sheer attention that Ms. Kathleen Curler has done for me and my neighbor. I have dealt with many lawyers in the past and none were as compassionate and understanding as Ms. Curler. It was my first time petitioning for guardianship for my disable neighbor and there was an overwhelming amount of paperwork and terms that I did not know. I petitioned guardianship Pro Se (representing myself) because I could not financial afford a lawyer. Ms Curler was appointed to my case on behalf of my disable neighbor. Ms. Curler was very professional and honest. She gave her time and attention to the matter at hand and for what was in her opinion to be what was best for my neighbor. Ms. Curler was very patient with me and was able to take the time to break things down for me. She seen and read all the facts to the case as well as listened to what I had to say. I have never felt respected by a lawyer as much as Ms. Curler did. By taking in all the information, Ms Curler agreed in favor of me to have guardianship of my neighbor. But that is not the main reason of way I appreciate Ms. Curler. She saw how much I was trying to get the nurses at the rehabilitation center to do the things that they promised to do and the lack of care they were giving my neighbor. She made it clear that the rehabilitation center was not living up the their name and not doing what they were suppose to be doing, which is their jobs. To do this she went beyond what was expected of her to ensure the well being of my neighbor, and for this she has my appreciation and respect.
