Paul Lytle is a very professional attorney who seems very dedicated to doing his job well. However, my main issue with Paul was the cost. I explained my dire financial situation in the beginning before I signed a contract. Paul assured me that I could spend $700-$900 a month if I didn't contact him t...oo much (just opening an email is $50). That right there doesn't allow for great communication. He blew through my $2500 retainer in record time just reviewing the court paperwork, which was absurd considering no major decision had been made. Then Paul proceeded to send me monthly bills of $1200 to $1700 a month, which was no where near the amount in our original conversation. If Paul had been transparent in the beginning about the cost, I never would have signed on with him. Finally, despite my children and I being domestic violence survivors, when I told Paul about my ex threatening to kill me in front of our small, he responded with "He's still their father." Attorneys like this should never represent domestic violence victims -- in the end we just end up feeling revictimized.
