About me

Jason’s practice is committed to achieving the best possible outcome for high net-worth individuals and their spouses in regards to complex divorce and custody disputes.  Jason is empathetic to the difficult emotions surrounding divorce and makes every effort to keep matters out of the courtroom.  As a trained mediator and former executive board member of the Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois, Jason’s extensive negotiation experience helps clients secure the future they envision.

Jason is also prepared to go to trial when necessary and is an assertive advocate for his clients.  He has experience trying numerous cases including successfully litigating termination of a maintenance obligation, obtaining sole custody for a Fortune 500 executive, and successfully vacating several orders of protection involving false abuse allegations.

Jason has given many lectures on various family law topics including trial techniques as they relate to business valuation experts, attorney assisted mediation, marriage and divorce planning, Collaborative Law, guardianship divorce actions on behalf of wards, prenuptial agreements, child custody disputes and domestic violence.

Jason graduated from the Indiana University School of Business in 2000 with a B.S. in Marketing and minors in Economics and International Business. As part of his B.S. program, Jason studied economics abroad at Erasmus University in Maastricht, Netherlands.

Jason lives in Oak Park and proudly balances being a lawyer, husband and father to his 7 year old daughter and newborn son.

  • James Thomas Keleher

Jason is an exceptional divorce attorney and is great to work with. He's an experienced trial attorney with the ability to handle complex litigation, but also has the skill set and training to work collaboratively with opposing counsel to settle cases outside of court. I strongly recommend Jason as a divorce attorney because his clients can feel confident that they are well represented both in and out of the courtroom.
