After a preliminary review of my case, Mr. Burdge indicated he would pursue the matter as it met the criteria of the Ohio lemon law. He clearly spelled out what I was expected to do and what he would do. He also asked what result I preferred. At first we attempted a settlement. But when that did not achieve any results, we pursued the issue by filing a complaint through the court.
His office was always on top of the case and would inform me what was happening every step in the process. In the end the desired result was obtained. I would highly recommend Mr. Burdge.

After purchasing my vehicle, I immediately started to have major problems. I contacted several other attorneys before contacting Burdge Lawfirm. None of them would accept the case. Attorney Burdge was very willing to listen to my complaint. Once the ball got rolling , Burdge Law didnt miss a beat! I was kept abreast of everything that was going on with my case. My stress level was back to its normal range and eithin 4 months of hard work, I received notice that the case had been settled ! I was thinking that it would be a long drawn out process but that wasn't the case; we never even made it to arbitration! I bought a brand new 2012 Nissan Xterra in June of 2012. I was so very excited to own a new SUV since the last vehicle I purchased was in July of 2000. In November of 2012, I noticed oil leaking from the vehicle. I took it to the Nissan Service Dept. TWICE where I purchased the SUV to have the oil leak fixed (once in Nov. and again in Dec.). I was assured in December that the problem was resolved. In late March of 2013, I noticed it was leaking oil again (and had been for a while), so I took it to a different Nissan Service Dept. They found that one of the header covers was defective, which occurred either during manufacturing of the part, or during the vehicles assembly. The SUV was in service for over a month while parts were being ordered, reordered, and other various issues occurred that needed to be addressed.
Needless to say, the excitement I felt the previous June was replaced with disappointment, discouragement, stress and worry. I was worried about the vehicle not running the same, which was later confirmed after it was returned to me in the form of noises and vibrations coming from under the hood that previously had not been there. Additionally, I was concerned that anyone obtaining a CarFax on the vehicle had I tried to sell it, would see that “engine” work had been done on a vehicle with less than 6,000 miles on it. I knew that I would never be able to sell it or trade it in for any decent amount of money.
I spoke with the General Manager of the Dealership that last serviced the SUV regarding my concerns, and my options, such as replacing the vehicle, but was not left with a very comfortable feeling as we finished the conversation. In fact, after hanging up the phone, I was even more concerned as I didn’t feel he would be a good advocate for me with Nissan Corp. The stress of the entire situation was getting to me, and a friend from my office recommended I speak with someone at Burdge Law to see what my options were. Feeling entirely frustrated and defeated, I stopped by their office on a whim the afternoon of April 23, 2013 and spoke to Susan, who alleviated my stress and concerns by confirming they could help. And they surely did!! To make a short story even shorter, with the help of the folks at Burdge Law, Nissan agreed to purchase the vehicle back and I received my settlement check June 5th.
I didn’t have any direct interaction with the dealership or Nissan Corp at all. Burdge Law took care of all of the correspondence with Nissan and the messy paperwork. All I had to do was provide information to them, make a couple of decisions, sign a few papers, and all was settled stress-free and without paying a dime from my pocket. I am extremely satisfied with the services I received from Burdge Law staff, and have recommended them to everyone who knows my story. I would recommend Burdge law office to anyone that is having difficulty in resolving lemon law issues. I tried unsuccessfully to deal with the dealership on my own for well over a year. Within 3 months of contacting Burdge, a settlement was reached. They make the process extremely easy on their clients and were great at keeping me in the loop at all stages of the process. Mr. Burdge and his staff are knowledgable and personable. There is no fee for consultation and if there is no settlement reached, Burdge does not collect a fee. If you are having car issues and have questions of whether you would be covered under lemon laws...these are the people to go to! Very thankful that I did.

Attorney Burdge and his entire staff could not have been better! Everyone was helpful, friendly and most importantly completely knowledgeable. From the moment I contacted this law firm their interest in helping me was beyond what I had ever received from any Law firm. The staff was very friendly, responsive and knowledgeable. I contacted them over two months ago. Provided the paperwork they requested to review to determine if I had a Lemon Law case or not. Within just a couple days I had a returned phone call saying I had a valid case. They clearly explained what they would do to protect my consumer rights and asked what outcome I was wanting to receive. I spoke with Attorney Burdge personally on three occassions and each of those I felt very comfortable. Ronald Burdge successfully represented us in the past & with a present issue w/a leased auto, which we felt was not "right" from the moment we drove it off the lot, after numerous trips back to the garage,the problem was never resolved. We at that time retained Mr. Burdge to represent us. The case was won, we recovered lost deposit and the legal fees were also paid,. Mr. Burdge and his firm helped me out of a truck that was a lemon. I contacted him in January 2012 and right from the start, they were very confident they could help me. They had told me that the process would take around 6-8 months. And they were spot on. In July of 2012, they informed me that Ford had agreed to repurchase the truck. I had the pleasure of working with Ron while working with his co-worker Beth in dealing with my 2010 F150 I bought new and shortly after began having transmission problems. Ron is extremely well educated in Ohio Lemon Law's and was able to explain how things would go step by step. During the jury trial I knew his co-worker Beth would be there because I was mainly dealing directly with her, but it made me feel well represented when Ron showed up with Beth to help out in any way. When I seen I not only had my direct attorney there but her co-worker, I knew I was well covered and that made me feel relieved. And that was a good thing because Ford had 2 of their attorney's there. Even after the jury ruled a flawless 8/0 ruling in my favor on all counts we had against the Ford Motor Company, I spoke with Ron many times on the phone on what was going on, what is the best way to approach, and what our next move should be next, as well as Ron asking what my insight is on the situation. Ron Burdge handled my lemon law case against a dealership and manufacturer of my motorcycle. The dealership and manufacturer refused to stand behind there work and refused to honor the warranty that came with the brand new motorcycle. I had been lied to and the dealership had done work on my motorcycle without my permission. The owner of the dealership attempted to bully me into accepting this motorcycle.
Mr. Burdge accepted my case when no one else would. He listened intently and got right on the case. There was no delays and he was always available to talk too. He was very diligent and stayed in communication with me three to four times a week. I got emails and phone calls any time there was any little change or offer made.
Mr. Burdge in less than two months got me everything I asked for and followed up to make sure it all got done right.
Dont let any dealer or manufacturer get away with a lemon. Call Mr. Burdge and make them give you what you are owed.

Mr. Burdges' law firm took my case involving my 2011 new car. (Which had spent way too much time at the dealer.) They had my case resolved in less than 3 months. Just make sure you listen carefully to Attorney Burdge when he instructs you to be clear about what you want to accomplish, especially at the level of mediation if it gets there. The time to negotiate is over once you settle and Ron will fight to get you what you want so don't waver and try to be through about what you want. We are glad we choose Ron Burdge to help us, he was consistent and worked hard to get us matter resolved.

I found Burdge Law office from a friend in TX who is also an attorney. I am lucky I hired them to fight for me. Most of our contact was by phone or email, but they always made me feel like I was a real person, not just a client. I have never had to sue someone, but I am sure glad I had them on my side. I had a Lemon Law case where I had my airbag light come on in my 2011 Chevy Equinox five times since I bought the car in February of 2011. I tried to deal with GM two times just to get out of my lease and possibly get something else. My pregnate wife was driving the car and the airbag light possed a big safety issue for her. GM offered me free oil changes to try and make the problem "go away." I was insulted by these offers, especially after the second one and decided to talk to an attourney. I Googled "Lemon Law Ohio Attourney" and Mr. Burdge was first. Did some research and found out that he specialized in Lemon Law. He is in Dayton and I'm in Youngstown and they assured me they'd take my case despite the distance from each other. With no "experts" in Lemon Law in my area I decided to hire this firm. The end result of everything was I ended up getting out of my lease and getting my wife a safer car to drive because of Ronald Burdge. It was a shame GM didn't want to deal with me because it cost them more in the long run, but the Burdge Law Office was great! Everyone kept me informed on what was going on, they are trustworthy, very knowledgeable, etc. I would reccommend them to anyone in the state of Ohio.

At the recommendation of a friend (an attorney) my wife and I contacted Mr. Burdge to resolve an issue with a new car purchase under Ohio's "lemon law". I purchased a $60,000 toy hauler camper that was built with a major design flaw.The manufacturer built the rv with the axles in the wrong position causing major handling issues while towing fully loaded.After the dealer did nothing about my issues I approached the manufacturer.The manufacturer refused to own up to the problem and blamed it on my truck saying it was to small to pull the 42 foot rv.I found Mr.Burdge's website and was skeptical hiring a lawyer from the internet since I live in Ill. and he was in OH (the state the rv was purchased in).After consulting with Mr.Burdge I was very impressed with his knowledge of lemon and consumer protection laws.I no longer felt like a helpless individual fighting a giant rv manufacturer.Mr.Burdge did everything he said he could do with the upmost respect and professionalism.He and his staff kept me updated on my case and in the end me and my wife were very satisfied with our settlement.Thank You Ron Burdge and your entire staff you guys get things done.

I had purchased a 2010 Dodge Journey in June 2010 from a local Centerville,Ohio dealership. Within the first 190 miles, there were braking issues that made me feel very unsafe & continued for the next 2 months. The vehicle had been to the Service Dept. 6 times & the problem persisted after 5 sets of rotors & brakes; the pedal even continued to go to the floor. My husband barely avoided collision with another vehicle due to this issue. Mr. Burdge even tested the brakes for himself & agreed that the vehicle posed a dangerous situation. Mr. Burdge was able to settle our case with Chrysler in a timely fashion. Chrysler agreed to a settlement. We would recommend him to everyone! My husband & business partner/friend had previously hired Mr. Burdge about 7 years ago for their case, they had great results & won against GM. Mr. Burdge is a tried & true man of integrity!

We were first time lawsuit clients who had no idea if we had been screwed by the auto dealer or not. We live in MN and the car was bought in Ohio so we found Ron Burdge online. Free consultation yielded very specific results and expectations as to how our case could be won. Prompt communication on what was needed to file a lawsuit was clearly given us which helped greatly because we didn't even have to fly to Ohio just to get the case settled.

I would highly recommend this firm! I contacted this firm when unable to get resolution from a warranty company of a motorcycle manufacturer regarding multiple mechanical issues (some of serious safety concerns) on a 2009 American made motorcycle. I was told by the motor company "their is nothing else they could do", and by the dealer that "you may just have to live with some of the issues" (some were created by this dealer due to lack of competency ). This law firm held my hand through the entire process keeping me fully informed and continuously updated throughout the entire process. They state what the law would allow for resolution and place them in to practice. Successfully resolving all concerns and issues that the motor company state they were unable and/or unwilling to originally resolve. This was all accomplished without filing a law suit.

I have never had a necessity for a lawyer prior to acquiring my first new car. In all the excitement and pride of buying that first brand new car, I never thought I would go through what had followed. I was clearly being taken advantage of and treated like I was young kid who didn't matter. My car, only a month old, started flickering warning lights on the console and also had other mechanical issues. When I took it into the dealer I bought it from, they blew me off like it was no big deal. Come to find out that "no big deal" turned into a month and a half long ordeal, and I could no longer enjoy the excitement of my new ownership. My friends and family had told me to get used to the the fact that my car was the way it was, but I couldn't accept that. A family member of mine referred me to Burdge Law Office. When no one else had faith left, Ron Burdge pulled through for me. The office worked efficiently and continued positive reinforcement, but never gave me a false sense of hope. In December of 2008, I and my wife had purchased a new vehicle from a dealership in Cincinatti. Soon this vehicle became a headache for us, with many mechanical problems and including a mix-up with the purchase order. We soon found out that most dealerships only care about that "BIG SALE" and have no concern further for the customer. It can be very difficult to attempt to legally battle these dealerships with no representation.
Eight months later we decided to contact Ronald Burdge. He was able to take care of the matter within one week! The dealership has taken back our vehicle, paid our loan off and gave us a check for all cost that we had put into our vehicle to date.
Without Ronald we would still have this headache. I am very happy that we called him and would recommend him above all else. He and his staff are easy to talk to. They really care and kept in touch with me. I and my wife were justified and compensated. All Thanks to The Ronald Burdge Law Office!

Mr. Burdge successfully represented me in a Fraud (Ohio Lemon Law) case. Throughout his handling of the case, he exhibited those traits that anyone would hope for in an attorney...he is knowledgeable of the law which was evident both in and out of court (I was really impressed by his attention to detail). He is both patient and responsive, especially when dealing with my family and friends.
