About Me

Nick Rice, formally known as
George Lawrence Rice, IV, is a third generation
attorney following in the footsteps of his grandfather
and father.

Mr. Rice first started studying
the law when he began working for the firm in
seventh grade. He graduated Christian Brothers
High School where he served 4 years on Honor
Council.

Mr. Rice graduated from The University
of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology
in 2000. He returned to Memphis to attend law
school and began working for the firm as a law clerk. Mr.
Rice received his J.D. from the University of
Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 2003.

Because of his extensive training,
he practiced law immediately after passing the
bar. Following in his father’s
footsteps, he has also presented Continuing Legal
Education lectures. He is widely considered to
be the among the best young divorce lawyers, and was recently included in the Super Lawyer's list of Rising Attorneys in Tennessee.  Mr. Rice currently serves on Tennessee's Family Law Executive Counsel and has recently given lectures for the Memphis Bar Association, Southwest Community College, and the University of Memphis School of Law.
