Atty Smith started my case in October 2014 and I have yet to find out any information about the case. I have left several messages and text messages but no one has returned my calls. I paid her fees upfront and still cant get any information. At first the paralegal filed the wrong info so what's the ...problem now?

Atty Kathrine Smith I would not recommend to represent anyone based on keeping you informed. Several times I have reached out to her to keep me inform on my case and will not call back. Please ask yourself a question how can Atty Smith represent you but won't talk to you? Communication is the key n...ot for her. DON'T DO IT

My review mirrors the other one posted. I have called and called for months and left messages with no return call, text or email. I have done everything I know to do to just try and get information about my case but to no avail. I am not rich. I have already paid her and I can't afford to hire ano...ther attorney. I'm still hoping that she decides to contact me. Until then, I guess I'm left to calling everyday and praying that she will eventually call me back. Please, don't go to her. If you need your business handled professionally, don't make the same mistake I did.

She may be knowledgeable in the law but she is not responsive and does not keep her client informed. There were times I would go months attempting to contact her, calling every day, leaving emails and text messages, with no response and then when I finally did hear from her, there was always an excus...e. At one point, the opposing attorney had sent paperwork to her on my behalf, it took her two months to noify me and even then it was only because I asked about it. 5 months ago, there was a motion for mediation. She never set up the date for mediation either. I have since fired her and hired a new attorney. Over 2 weeks ago, I requested my file from her office. I was told there is a 4 business day waiting period. I am still waiting on that file. I call every day and every day I get the same answer, It isn't ready. My new attorney has attempted to make contact with her as well and sent letters. No response. I do not, I repeat, I do not recommend this attorney. I wish I had done more research befor hiring her. I found negative reviews from other clients on different web sites recently.
