Neil is a 2002 graduate of Middle Tennessee University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a 2007 graduate of the Nashville School of Law. He is a native resident of middle Tennessee. He had the privilege of being sworn into the Tennessee Bar by the Honorable Justice Cornelia A. Clark of the Tennessee Supreme Court, upon the motion of Joseph Baugh in the fall of 2007. He began his practice here in Franklin, Tennessee immediately upon his admission, where he still practices today. He feels privileged to work in this community and in this area of law, which he loves. He has offices at both 136 Fourth Avenue South and 1031 Westhaven Boulevard in Franklin, Tennessee. He is a Divorce/Family Lawyer, and a Rule 31 Listed Family Law Mediator, and has recently been titled as one of Super Lawyer's Rising Stars in 2015. However, he is most proud of his amazing family and how they all attend the Church of the City located here in Franklin and in Spring Hill, Tennessee.
His practice includes all aspects of Domestic and Family Law, including divorces that include division of complex marital estates, business valuations, alimony, child support, and child custody. He also practices in juvenile law, guardianship, conservatorships and adoptions.
In his pursuit to become the best Divorce and Family Law advocate that he can be for all clients, he has received training in mediation and collaborative law and is listed as a Rule 31 Family Law Mediator with the Tennessee Supreme Court. His mediation practice has given him invaluable experience which he also uses in his role as a Divorce Attorney and a zealous advocate. At the office, him and his staff strive to help individuals resolve their disputes in a respectful and efficient manner in a way that truly serves the client's best interests, as well as the interest of their children. However, when amicable resolution cannot be accomplished through mediation or agreement, he proactively represents his clients inside the Courtroom.
Neil listens to what the clients say, helps them clarify their goals and makes sure they have the information necessary to make informed legal decisions about their case and lives. He works closely with each of his clients throughout the process and tailors his services and representation to be responsive to each client's unique needs. As part of this process, he also works with therapists, counselors, psychologists, forensic accountants, and other professionals to achieve solutions that serve each client's case that is presented to the Court in the light most favorable through ethical and aggressive representation and preparation from start to finish.
Neil truly hopes that his involvement in every divorce and family law matter will eventually help each client achieve the life that they deserve to have, whether they are married or divorced.
