    Would not recommend

The day before my court date we had a two hour meeting scheduled. Chris showed up 1 hour and twenty minutes late. So we only had 40 minutes for Chris to get my ready for court. The only thing he said to be ready to have questions on, never came up. Chris also never returned my phone calls even when he told me he would call he did not. It took him about a week to get back to me with a email. Calling his secretary was know better I left three messages with her for Chris not to do any more work on the case until we spoke, she told me she would make sure he got the message. Again he never called. There was a little more then fifteen hundred dollars left on retainer when I first called. I do not know what he used up the balance of my retainer on. Finely after he never called I found another attorney. Unfortunately the damage was done on the first court date. I feel like he cost me thousands and wish I never met him.

Christopher P Norris’s response: “I am unsure who this claimed client could be if the claim is for anything in the last year at a minimum. There was a client well over a year ago who routinely ignored my communications and then pretended not to get the emails and refused even certified mail. This was the same man who quit his job when the divorce was filed and never told me about the job until the opposing side put his former boss on the stand who testified that the man disappeared from his limo driver job but they were busy enough to rehire him. The man never took the job and the judge made orders based upon those earnings. That is the only client i could think of in the last 10 years who would make such inaccurate claims. A lawyer can only give advice based upon the facts provided and a lawyer expects a client to be truthful about their employment history when they seek alimony. As to being an hour and forty minutes late, I dont recall that at all. Sometimes hearings run long and you cant leave court, but i dont see why we wouldnt have adjusted the meeting as needed.”

    quick on his feet

This man is very effective-not the life of the party but extremely capable. He was able to get meevything I asked for in very little time. He was clever and stayed one step ahead of my divorce by geting a different judge (same building) on the case as an aside but this was trul;y what the situation warrented. I would absolutely give his name to a friend.
