Kenneth Alan Votre

I am a lawyer with 36 years of experience. I am a successful litgator with well more than 100 trials in Connecticut and New York.  In addition to Connecticut state and federal courts, I have litgated in the Southern District of West Virginia,the  Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the Northern District of Illinois and the Southern District of New York. I have handled appeals in the Connecticut Appellate and Supreme Courts, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. I have filed several petitions for certiorari  to the United States Supreme Court. My post graduate legal education includes Tax Law and International and Comparative Law.  I have taught International Litigation, International Trade and European Union Law for 20 years. I am published  in International Trade Law.  My litigation include all areas, in particular complex matters including tax litigation, marital litigation, business disputes, constitutional issues and legal malpractice. I  handle legal malpractice litigation for plaintiffs and legal ethics matters. I received my Juris Doctor degree magna cum laude and received my LL.M. in International and Comparative Law from the Georgetown University Law Center.  I also hold a LL.M. in Taxation. I work hard for my clients and I fight their fights. I believe I am creative and do not give up. I am accepting new clients. I am also happy to answer questions from potential clients and from other lawyers. I have handled over 200 appeals in my career and consider myself a scholar of the law.
