Very dissappointed with results. Charged top dollar lawyer fee for low level service.

I got the same results with this attorney as I would have gotten if I had walked in the courtroom and just pled guilty. The only difference is that now I am out $3000 while still needing to meet the financial obligations of a DWI conviction. (The word conviction in this statement is underlined.) T...he police officers in this case were very ill prepared and ultimately got on the stand a painted a picture that in no way resembled the truth. Had Jimmy studied the dash cam video and taken notes, he could have very well submitted this into evidence and used it for grounds for dismissal. But instead, Jimmy just stuck with the plan. I mean, when you've already gotten someone's money and it isn't your life and/or livelihood on the line, why make your job any harder than it needs to be, right? $3000 for a Level 5 DWI charge is preposterous. I do not recommend.

A Lawyer that is friendly, helpful and very competent.

I would highly recommend the McGee Law Firm. James and his staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, even when helping us out in a last moment issue. All the recommendations from his Staff were correct and when our Court appearance was due, James was cordial and professional. The outcome James ...worked out was better than we hoped for and I believe his talent was the driving factor. In my case the McGee Law Firm handled a continuance, which was last minute for them, and an alleged criminal act. My information was written down and reviewed. Then a course of action was decided on and excepted . On the day of trial we met before Court to review and James helped escort me to the correct location. Mr. McGee moved through the Court proceedings with confidence and was able to conclude my case with better results than I could have expected.

Hired the McGee Law Firm for a girlfriend that was stopped on a DUI last year. Awesome attorney and staff. Hands on every step of the way. Went to court four times in a year until resolved and Jim was there everytime prepared to win case. Won case and frankly, embarrassed officer who wasn't prepar...ed at all. Just AWESOME! Highly reccommended!

Excellent and Professional!

Mr. McGee handled my DWI case very professionally! He was there to handle the case and treats his clients excellent! There were many issues with my case and they were all worked out due to James and his knowledge of DWI cases. Very well put together firm and I recommend highly recommend him!

Highly Recommend

I had a great experience with Mr. McGee. I am in the Coast Guard and got a DUI while on vacation in Wilmington. I hired McGee because I live in Florida and I just needed him to deal with everything. He did just that and more. Him and his staff were pleasant to deal with and very helpful. There wasn't... much I had to do which is good considering I don't know much about the law system and how it works. My final hearing was a couple days ago and it couldn't have gone better! The judge dismissed all the charges. I was so shocked I did not expect it. Mr. McGee was great he saw things about the evidence and the entire case I would never have seen. He did his job above and beyond and had an excellent closing argument. You can not go wrong with having him as your lawyer. I can't thank him enough! Also, he is not the first lawyer I've dealt with but certainly the best!
