Fantastic job!

I had BS charge brought up on me, I gave Chas all the evidence needed for my defense, and after 5 minutes. Dismissed. It didn't hurt that I didn't do it and proved it. But Chas rolled up his sleeves, dipped his burly man hands into the bucket of law and got the deed done. This man is incredible! It was truly majestic working with this man! I will definitely keep he and his firm in mind. He is the Jedi to the evil Siths. He is the Stevie Hagar of law. The man rips! Great job Chas, and that you for being awesome!

He also provides zealous defense in criminal misdemeanor cases such as driving while impaired, larceny and other theft crimes, drug possession, domestic violence and assaults, along with any and all traffic offenses.

Chas has tried double-digit Superior Court jury trials, ranging from serious class B1 felonies, carrying a maximum sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole to general misdemeanor appeals; and he is relentless when negotiating with the prosecution for a dismissal of his client’s cases, or for a reduced plea in cases where a trial is not in the best interest of his client.

When it comes to defending those accused of Impaired Driving, Chas has received the most recognition of excellence from his peers and lawyer rating agencies. For the past seven years (2015 - 2021), Chas has been one of a select few North Carolina attorneys named by Super Lawyers magazine to “Super Lawyers Rising Stars” in the area of Criminal Defense: DUI/DWI. The “Super Lawyers Rising Stars” honor is limited to no more than 2.5% of lawyers within the State of North Carolina.

Look no further...

Chas is top notch, I have absolutely no regrets in choosing him as my representation in Chatham County. Not only does Chas fully understand the law, but he also has the intuition and acuity to apply it to even the most challenging cases. My case (DWI) had, admittedly, a very narrow window for which Chas could make an argument for my innocence. He was able to deftly navigate bringing my case to trial and was demonstrably competent within the courtroom. In all of our pre-trial meetings I felt that he provided his undivided attention and his demeanor never wavered from one of competency and support. He is clearly invested in his cases and his staff always communicated timely via email and/or phone. Chas was always prompt when meeting in person before any major milestone and was as realistic as possible when navigating my case as a positive outcome was not guaranteed. The only regret I have is that I ended up needing legal representation in the first place; but I truly feel that Norman “Chas” Post was the best representation I could have chosen.

Amazing Lawyer

Chas handled my case with ease. I did everything he asked of me and everything went smooth. He actually did more for me than I could ever repay him of...definitely a life changing moment for me and I couldn't have done it without him. I had other lawyers tell me that "it couldn't be done" and Chas never once said that to me and handled it like a pro. DWI dismissed

Chas Post IS THE BEST DWI LAWYER IN NC. I had a DWI charge which I did not need on my record and after some intelligent legal maneuvering he had the DWI reduced to careless driving and now my record is not tarnished with an unnecessary blemish. I am very happy and would recommend him to anyone who is unfourtunate enough to have a DWI, don't hesitate to call him.

Excellence in the Courtroom

I would highly recommend Chas. Post for your defense in Moore County or Lee County. Chas. was forthright from the beginning and helped guide my wife and I as I faced charges in Moore County. He helped us clearly understand our options and the cost involved with each one. He guided us through unfamiliar territory. We chose to go to trial due to several mistakes made in the process. Watching Chas. in the courtroom is an amazing experience. He is articulate and passionate. We appreciate his caring manner for us and his passionate defense of our rights and situation. Federal Assualt Charge

Hx: Falsely accused of striking a federal officer, was offered online anger management to dismiss. Because, my young daughter was with me during initial incident and witnessed this abuse of privilege power first hand, I declined governments offer and instead choose to consult and ultimately hire this professional young man who not only defended my honor but made a life-long positive impression my aspiring daughter. Best DUI lawyer in NC!

Chas Post is absolutely great! I was charged with a DUI and when I called him while in custody, he told me that I made a great choice. When I first met with Chas, and explained the details of the incident, he told me the DUI would be dismissed and not to worry. When the case went before the judge, he worked hard and the DUI was dismissed and I did not lose my license! I cannot recommend another lawyer for DUI defense other than him!

Traffic ticket
