Phenomenal Lawyer

My husband sustained multiple injuries as a result of a car accident in November of 2014. Fortunately, he hired Jeb Butler and Darren Tobin. Their legal finesse, client care and compassion are incomparable. Butler Tobin worked diligently for resolution to my husband’s claim involving our own insurance company. The case went to a jury trial and this legal dynamic duo, aided by Sarah Christy, went to work. I was born and raised in Columbus, Georgia. I earned an undergraduate degree at Vanderbilt University, completed the Stanford University Graduate School of Business Summer Institute, and earned my law degree at the University of Georgia. During law school, I participated in law review, moot court, and mock trial. I graduated in the top 10% of my class and, while still in law school, won a trial for a man falsely accused of driving under the influence who could not afford a lawyer. Before starting my own firm, I worked at a public defender's office, clerked at two of Atlanta's most large defense firms, served as a staff attorney for Judge Lisa Godbey Wood of the Southern District of Georgia, tried cases as prosecutor, and handled civil cases at Butler, Wooten & Fryhofer.

Best Lawyer In The Business

Caring and Knowledgeable!

We hired Jeb Butler of Butler Tobin after an automobile accident that my husband was involved in as a passenger. From the moment we first consulted with Jeb we knew we had found the right lawyer. His first concern was my husbands health, which was refreshing. Throughout our case he was always available for email or phone calls, even on the weekends. We were kept up to date during the entire process and were never misled about what our outcome would be. Thanks to Jeb we received the full policy limits of the at fault party's insurance, after an initial denial of coverage. James Edward Butler lll Jeb as I've known him has excellent customer service and people skills. He is very professional, knowledgeable, genuinely friendly and easy to do business with. Superior Lawyer

After a terrible car accident in late 2014, I was in shock, confused and suffering from numerous injuries. Butler Tobin stepped in not only as my legal team and my project managers, but also personally to calm everything down on a constant basis. Jeb Butler in particular encouraged and supported me through many really bad days and months during four surgeries for back, neck, knee and wrist and through the mental anguish resulting from severe traumatic brain injury. He encouraged me to be steadfast in my treatment so I could move forward in life while he took care of all the legal matters. Always going above and beyond for me, Jeb Butler became family. The case against my own insurance company went to trial in January 2018. Jeb Butler and Darren Tobin did an exceptional job. The Butler Tobin team was extremely prepared, organized, and thorough. Their knowledge of the law and formidable skill in the courtroom helped insure a win. The jury awarded over $935K. From the very first phone call, Mr. Butler was extremely kind and caring for the issue my son and I were dealing with. He took the time to answer all questions we had in reference to the process we were about to deal with. He was very knowledgeable and was able to guide us in our legal journey. Attorney You Can Trust

I was involved in a slip and fall at a large grocery store chain. I hired Darren Tobin, Jeb Butler's partner for my case. When I met Jeb Butler for the first time he was personable and I knew I was in good capable hands. As my case progressed, Jeb partnered with Darren deposing witnesses to bring about the best possible solution for me. During the deposition, my doctor gave damaging testimony that hurt my case. Both Jeb and Darren agreed while it hurt my case they would be willing to take it to court if necessary. They didn't pressure me into settling so they could get paid. Their tenacity prevailed. I will personally thank the attorney that recommended Butler Tobin. I dealt with all of the attorneys personally, I did not have to deal with any case managers, investigators, or paralegals. All three members of the firm are very professional, extremely knowledgeable and capable. I was involved in an auto accident with a commercial vehicle and I had serious injuries that required surgery. Butler and Tobin went to bat for me with all guns blazing and when their newest member joined the firm; Mike Rafi, he also jumped right in and gave it his all. My attorneys were always available to me, listened to my concerns and promptly answered any questions I had, as well as keeping me updated at every turn. They left no stone unturned against a willing, capable opponent but in the end they were no match. The other driver was at fault and my attorneys got his lawyers to capitulate and offered us a bettr result than anticipated. If anyone I know ever needs an attorney for an injury case I will only recommend Butler Tobin. They may be a small Firm but they are mighty in will, knowledge, professionalism and courtesy, Like a Mike Tyson fight.

Excellent, Personable Lawyer

I'm so happy that I turned to Butler Tobin for help with my case. I wasn't familiar with the legal system and didn't know what my options were. I was also concerned that I'd waited too long to be able to take action as my trial date was quickly approaching.
