Replied last February 21, 2020I am sorry you are still confused even after my earlier email to you (before you posted this review). We give all clients a bright green and a bright purple document that says what we are hired to do, the process and what the client agrees to do. That way there are no misunderstandings (or should not be). The colorful documents are hard to miss. (That's why we made them so colorful.) You signed them and have copies. In short. if you refer back to the bright purple document, you might recall that we were not hired to 'talk to all your creditors.' We were hired to review your finances and provide advice once you provide certain information and a deposit toward fees. (Note: You have not paid $1,350, and that is not the fee; so, I am not sure where you get that number). We are happy to tell your creditors that you have hired us for that purpose. That normally buys a client time to work through the review and filing process. Thus, we'd be happy to tell your student loan creditor that we have have been retained to review your finances. There is no additional fee for that. However, we have not been hired to negotiate payments with your student loan creditor (or any creditor). [I'll note that this was not an issue we previously discussed since you point out above that this is a brand new issue for you.] Yes, you could hire us to provide additional negotiation services, and there would be an additional fee for the additional services. However, if it were me, I'd save that money and just convey your offer to them yourself. That's pretty easy to do; you don't need to hire us to do that for you. If the student loan creditor won't talk to you because you told them you have an attorney, no problem. As I mebtioned previously, all you have to do is give us their contact information, and we'll tell them they are free to negotiate payment with you. It's an easy fix. :-) Of course, there is no fee for that. I hope that helps clear up your confusion. Have a great day.
