Seth and his team are very knowledgeable and provide support during the whole process. Bankruptcy can be scary, but they did an excellent job keeping me informed. I can't recommend them enough!

25 years ago, I got in over my head due a a fiance being killed in Europe, then my mom dying of cancer with spotty insurance, zero income, and massive bills. I refused to declare bankruptcy and sold my house and car and spent years eating Ramen. Fast forward and now we have 3 unemployed adult children back with us and a mother-in-law with no insurance and major medical. Then I lost my job. Maxed out the credit cards and quickly realized we were in over our heads. Went from contemplating digging a swimming pool to arguing over whether we could afford to visit the city pool. Got a referral for Seth. Amy was great, put us at ease, and the firm mailed us a guide and a book from Seth about how he wasn't looking to represent con-artists, but why good people can find themselves in this position. Got a consultation with Seth as soon as we were ready to pull the trigger. Took longer than it should've because we had a hard time putting our hands on the docs he needed. (Lesson learned--we now have a much better filing system.) Seth, Chris, and Amy worked with us and Seth and Chris helped to figure out when the most strategic date to file was. Ultimately, the outcome was so much better than I expected and all the stress and shame I felt were needless. Afterwards, Seth sent us another of his books about "after bankruptcy." You'd better believe we'll be following his advice as we rebuild our credit. Prior to everything going sideways we were both over 780 on our credit scores and we want to get past that and into the 800s, but only use the credit as needed and pay it off ASAP.
