Scott is very knowledgeable, patient and available. He took time to understand my situation and to gather all the information needed to resolve my concerns. He managed the communication for the collection of the other parties personal belongings and the landlord aspect to this situation. He provided ...guidance and stayed the course through to resolution of my DVPO hearing. I appreciate Scott’s time, energy and availability throughout the process.

Helpful

My boyfriend and I had been unsure of our tenants rights as we sort of "fell between the cracks". Not roommates anymore, so are we boarders? Tenants? Mr. Matthews helped immensely in putting us in the right track. Just a brief online consultation helped us to relax a bit and prepare for when we may n...eed to hire him. Thank you so much!

Completely Satisfied

I sought out assistance when I felt wronged by my former apartment complex and I was referred to Mr. Matthews and his practice. I couldn't have been placed in better hands. He took the time to hear me out and proved to be extremely knowledgeable and professional. The best part, however, was that he w...as very transparent with me throughout the whole process. I cannot express how invaluable his help was when I needed it most. Oh, and if he didn't do enough, he also made a point to work late knowing that my work schedule is extremely demanding and meeting with him during his actual office hours was impossible for me. I hope I never do get in a spot where I need his help again, but I know if I do I wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

Positive, experienced, and awesome!

Scott, went above and beyond the call of duty in my case. He met with me several times, put in long hours, took my calls, answered my emails and has the patience of a saint! He restored my faith in lawyers. I came to him by way of a free legal resource for tenants and even though I was not payin...g him, you would never know. I had recently had dealings with another "free" lawyer who could not be bothered to ever meet with me, let alone explain anything to me. Scott was the exact opposite! He took time to explain things to mem let me ask questions and never once treated me like I was worth less than any other client. I am so impressed with his skill and integrity that I would recommend him to anyone looking for a lawyer. R.A.
