Jesse came recommended to us by our CPA and for good reason. We were having trouble with a contractor who did a small remodeling job for us and never completed the project. It resulted in us having to incur extra costs to hire someone else to finish the project, we are hoping to recoup some costs. After looking over the contract and documents he gave us his honest opinion and drafted a demand letter. This was our first experience with a lawyer and it was somewhat daunting at first. He was extremely knowledgeable, straightforward and easy to talk to. He laid out what our options were and let us do what we wanted without any pressure from him. In the end we filed in small claims court and are hoping for the best. I would highly recommend him.

While in the beginning, I feel Jesse was eager to get my business and was quite helpful. I feel that once he learned I wasn’t going to be a ‘big spender’, the tone all changed. I expressed being on a limited budget several times early on. It wasn’t just this, but the fact that we both found out I was fully covered in litigation by my insurance company and their in house legal team. I repeated myself numerous times in emails to Jesse that I didn’t want to incur any more bills with him, since I was fully covered elsewhere. He agreed, expressed how lucky I was to get this new free coverage, and said he would wrap up a few things at no cost and get them over to my new lawyer. He basically did the following for me: Responded to my suit with the court (filed a response letting them know I received it basically, nothing more), and forwarded a generic and simple half a page counter suit document to my new lawyer. I had already put down $500. Assuming we were all done and everyone was happy (I never inquired if I was owed any money out of the $500 as a nice gesture, but feel like I should have now) , I get an almost $800 additional bill from Jesse!? I asked what was going on, and he replied he had a lot of work on this ‘counterclaim’ document! Needless to say I was VERY upset and not pleased with this. Especially after he assured me that the simple counter suit document would come without any fees. I had even asked him upfront, if there would be a fee, and he assured me no. Very little nothing was done in the time he represented me until my Insurance company’s legal team took over, and this guy wants $1,300+! I am giving him 2-stars, because he seemed somewhat solid in the very beginning. Otherwise it be a one star. Be careful hiring this lawyer and set up a flat fee payment plan itemizing each task before hand. Don’t just assume he’s taking care of your best interest. I would not recommend Jesse as a lawyer and would be concerned about him in a courtroom setting.

My 82 year old mother and 90 year old father hired Jesse to defend them in lawsuit that spanned several years. After my father passed, I watched bill after bill arrive for my mother. Little detail, never any copies of filings…. Sometimes the bill would say see attached but nothing was attached or included. My mother doesn’t use email so she’d occasionally get a call. Jesse would charge her $35 if she was not home and he left a message for her to call him back!!! It seemed to me (and having an attorney spouse for 13 years)-after reviewing her bills that they were heavily padded. 6 months from trial Jesse insisted on a hefty retainer. After interceding and at the advice of my attorney-we told him we’d give him a retainer (20k)closer to trial… but why after paying bills timely for 4 years did he need a huge retainer. Once my mother gave him the retainer-almost half was spent in 10 days!! The case was settled in July yet my mother received yet another bill just last month. She is still upset about this attorney. I would not recommend Jesse.

I sent him a message. He did not even bother to let me know he wasn't interested in helping me.

He waste your time and just gets your retainer money then drops you and doesn’t try to build a case he’s great at one thing and that’s B.S be weary and find someone that will fight for you this guy is not it.

On May 4 I called Jessy Law firm and asked to help me to file an eviction lawsuit against the tenant .All paperwork was collected by another representative already. He asked me for my credit card before he would even look at my case: no less than $2000. His secretary assured me that they will not withdraw my money from the credit card unless we would sign the fee/client agreement . Luckily, the tenants moved out without the need for lawsuit or filing before Jessy and I even signed the agreement. Unfortunately, his law firm still withdrawn the money from my credit card $2000 and is refusing to retune it. I could only imagine how much it would cost me :probably the same as for the another client whom references are within the line with my.

I hired Mr. Conway and he did a horrible job. He didn’t even read the contract and he submitted a wrong lawsuit to the wrong court while the contract said we should seek arbitration. He estimated the whole case to cost $3000. He charged me $8000 and the case hasn’t started yet. I have all the evidence and I have much more. This is my experience with Mr. Conway.

Please to anyone who wants an attorney for court don't use Jesse, if its just paper work then he's ok. I feel he doesn't do his homework he was not prepared in the courtroom and he cost me not just in money but in property. I think in time he maybe a good attorney but he needs alot of experience before that happens. He is a really nice guy but he let me down in the court room I had to keep suggesting things to say and pass notes all thru the trial. He simply is not ready for peoples trust as I put mine in his and at some point I thought we was doing a great job and some times I would tell him that to help build his confidence, because the lack of it came thru. There was many things along the way that I said to him and I admit they weren't true I was hope by saying possitive things it would help him but nothing can help him in a courtroom. On the good side he did a great job on my codcil and living trust but that were the good stops. Well sorry I can't say more but the case is been over for a while and I still feel he let me down. He last bad mark was he sent me an email saying I owed the other party a $1000.00 then week later my house almost went into lein because he never send me the final judgement saying I owed $1475.00 and never emailed me to let me know. This is bad bussiness on his part, he should be accountable for this mistake.
