When I found Matthew my divorce was stalled out for about two years. I had finally decide to wrap it up, and consulted a few firms. After my initial meeting with Matthew I was sold that he understood my case, and more importantly was focused on pushing the matter to a swift close. Upon awarding Mat...thew my trust, he immediately picked up the pieces of my messy "self service" filing. Fortunately I made that decision when I did, as my now ex was mounting a completely unsubstantiated case against me. Throughout the next couple months as her attorney did everything under the sun, Matthew was reassuring, and completely in control of the proceedings. He was able to clearly articulate to me every angle the opposition was taking and why. As well as explain to me the futility in their approach, and our counter measures. After the dust settled, and Matthew was able to enlighten the opposing counsel, on the actual letter of the law. Her attorney removed herself from the case shortly after this meeting. Matthew was steadfast in his initial assessment and game plan of pushing this sleepy case to an ending. Given the opportunity to go back on the offensive and moved forward with court proceedings which would have incurred more expense to me. Matthew again clearly laid out my options, and was able to negotiate an extremely favorable settlement for me. Saving me tens of thousands of dollars, which would have gone to his firm, and court costs. Once he was able to reach a negotiation (with a very difficult opposing party), the process to sign and finalize was swift and complete in a matter of days. I am very grateful to Matthew and his team for not only their attention to detail, and prompt professional representation, but also the ability to clearly lay a path to success and follow it to conclusion.
