Biography
Alex bcame a partner at GLP Attorneys in 2016 and manages the firm’s Motions and Appellate Practice Department, and also supervises the firm’s Legal Intern Department. Alex began working at GLP Attorneys as a legal intern in 2006 while attending law school, he then joined the firm as an attorney in 2008. Since that time he has drafted hundreds of motions and successfully argued many of these motions in courts throughout Washington State.
He has been awarded the 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 Rising Star Super Lawyers Award, which is awarded to the top 2.5% of attorneys in the state.
Results in cases where motions practice played an important role:
$7 million for a playground accident resulting in serious injuries to a child.
$3.5 million for wrongful death of nursing home patient.
$3 million for injuries to two construction workers injured by a wall collapse.
$2 million for victim of small plane crash.
$1.87 million for medical malpractice wrongful death of an adult child.
$1.25 million for a bicyclist struck by a vehicle in a crosswalk resulting in serious ankle fractures.
$1 million for the passenger of a semi-truck involved in a collision resulting in a serious arm degloving injury.

$500,000 for victim of car accident resulting in thoracic outlet syndrome.
