Nick was born in Richmond, VA, where his father practiced law. He now resides in Tacoma, where he has lived and worked since May of 2006 after completing his first year of law school. Nick graduated from O'Dea High School in Seattle, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Policy Studies in 2003 from Indiana University. He then attended Seattle University School of Law, earning his J.D. in 2008, and was admitted to the State Bar in October of that year.

Nick is known for his compassionate touch, professionalism, integrity, diligence, and zealous advocacy on behalf of clients. He has significant experience with clients struggling with mental health and chemical dependency issues. Nick was a presenter at the 2017 “Defending Drug Cases” Continuing Legal Education seminar addressing treatment issues, Drug Court & DOSA.

Very effective

We were referred to Nicholas Andrews by our long time business attorney. Nick was very easy to work with and always available. It was nice to have somebody who was able to effectively communicate all possible outcomes ahead of time and we are very pleased with how everything turned out. Great Attorney

I hired Nick for a Washington Department of Fish and wildlife citation The officers involved were very dishonest Nick went above and beyond to prove them wrong and wasn’t afraid to stand up for what was right I was very impressed with him if you want an that will fight for you and not bend over for the courts Andrews is your man you definitely get what you pay for

#1 Dui lawyer

Nick was the absolute best! He is Seriously knowledgeable in any situation. I was being charged with a dui, but mr.Andrews and his great team always kept me in the loop, telling me things I needed to get acomplished in order for me to have the best outcome, and he definitely saw it threw, getting a lesser charge instead of a full dui...I'm forever thankful for being his customer, hie was also super easy with the payment plan I specifically needed, and still gave 200% so if you're shopping around, don't... you've already found the best with Nicolas

Hire Nick Andrews

I was charged with a DUI at the start of 2023 and Mr. Nick Andrews was recommended to me by a colleague. I was petrified at every aspect of facing the charge, but Mr. Andrews remained positive and supportive. Once hired, Nick answered all of my questions and addressed all concerns. He stayed in good communication with myself, making it clear what I needed to do, and with the court, advocating on my behalf. He was very fair with his prices and even more understanding about payments. I highly recommend Mr. Andrews and his team. I know it’s always hard to tell if a review is true but this one comes from the heart. I don’t know what position I’d be in if it hadn’t been for Mr. Andrews’ help. He was able to get my DUI dropped down to a negligent driving, which considering the circumstances, was the best outcome. Delivered beyond my expectations!

Fantastic Attorney with great results.

My son had a very difficult case in which he was facing many charges as well as time in prison. We found Nick Andrews at a time when we thought there was no hope. He helped guide us through the process and was very responsive whenever we had questions. The process was a four year long process, and I can’t thank Nick Andrews enough for what his diligence and compassion has done for our son and our family. Our son had all of his charges dropped. The best lawyer I ever had

He was always attentive answered ever questions and when he was unavailable got back to me the moment he was able whenever I had a question he would tell it to me straight or give me a answer the second he had it he was able to help me more than I thought possible furthermore he gave/told me what I needed to do in order to help myself and push on I would have been in much worse straights with out him

Wrongfully accused

I was a passenger in my own vehicle and driver hit another car on way home.Was arrested and accused of driving when I wasn’t I bailed out and called Nicholas and he got me all the help I needed him and his team are amazing they worked hard and my case was dismissed and truly grateful for his help.

Attorney that will fight for your rights

I hired Nick to represent me when I was facing some serious accusations. Throughout the legal process Nick and his staff treated me with the utmost respect, and honesty. Amazing attorney, highly recommend!

I found Nick when he was working at Puget Law Group, I was needing representation for a second dui charge. From the beginning Nick was confident and reassured me that he would do whatever he could to get the best outcome. I did my best to believe him, but being my second charge I was really skeptical anyone could do anything and I was sure I would be charged and have to do jail time and a bunch of other requirements. The process took about a year and it was not fun to say the least, but Nick did everything he could along the way. Even when things seemed hopeless to me, he still fought and didn’t take the easy way out. In the end I ended up getting the dui charge lowered to RE and walked out with a 128 dollar fine. This was an amazing outcome and better than I could have ever hoped for! After the charge was lowered I still had to deal with my first dui, as the city wanted to review my probation terms. Again I was very worried and anxious, and figured I would have to do some EHM or jail for breaking the probationary terms. But nope! Nick and his team came through again and I walked out with 30 hours of community service, another amazing outcome. Overall I am very please with Nick’s representation. If you find yourself in a hard spot and are feeling hopeless reach out to Nick, he will get the job done. Aside from good representation, Nick is also a very caring person and was there for me and made sure I was on the right path.

Nick and his team's work gave me freedom

I plead to a vehicular assault charge 20 years ago when I was 18. It has haunted me all of my life, but until recently had not effected me directly in my career. Remote work changed that and I finally took it upon myself to seek help vacating the charge. I went to several lawyers and firms, but Nick was the most communicative and seemed the most trustworthy and empathetic. Amazing Attorney with Terrific Results!

Our son was arrested for a DUI in June of 2021. We contacted Nicholas Andrews after performing extensive research for legal representation. After we contacted him on a Friday, Nick met with us the following Saturday morning. During this meeting, it was very apparent that Nick takes great personal interest in his clients. Not only was Nick interested in the circumstances surrounding the incident/arrest, he was also interested in our son’s life, the impact of this arrest on his life, and what his future ambitions were going forward. Nick also gave our son valuable advice on completing all necessary substance counseling, education and public service hours prior to his final hearing. During this 15-month period, our son received several letters from WA DOL and the district court. Each time our son contacted Nick or his paralegal Amy McMenimen with questions or advice, they responded promptly and completely. The final disposition was better than any of us expected! Terrific and Professional Attorney

I found Nicholas Andrews online when I was searching for attorneys to fight a DUI charge and he had tremendous reviews online. Nicholas met up with me and my family the day after calling his office to discuss the incident that had transpired, offering me valuable insight, along with conversations that showed he truly cared about obtaining the best outcome for me and my best interest. Amazing work.

Best at what he does

Upon me getting a dui after a night out of celebrating getting my associates degree, Mr. Andrews was recommended to me by one of my previous coworkers. They said how he was good at what he did and how much he cared about helping them get a second chance as well as out of a tough situation. After taking the chance and hiring him he’s done just that. I received my dui in WA state and though I was visiting from Georgia, he still took me on. From the 3 hour time difference, a step by step of the actions I needed to take, and check-ins on my well being and mental state; Mr. Andrews worked relentlessly to ensure me that everything would be okay. He’s done just that in the time frame of four months and because of him I was able to get the end result I wanted and able to pick back up with my life. Very professional, personable, and genuine.
