also known as Rob
Rob Gillette is the founder of Gillette Legal Services, PLLC, a Seattle law firm representing individuals and small business owners in employment, contract, and commercial real estate matters. With more than 15 years of legal experience, Rob focuses on helping people navigate high-stakes moments — severance negotiations, partnership disputes, lease decisions, and workplace conflicts — with clear, practical advice and straightforward guidance on what their options actually are.
Rob began his legal career at Reeve Shima, then joined Corr|Downs PLLC, handling employment disputes, business litigation, and trade secret cases. He went on to become a Partner at Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani LLP, one of the nation's largest law firms, where he advised and litigated on complex employment and business matters.
In 2024, Rob stepped away from firm practice to serve as Chief Executive Officer of a multi-site organization with more than 250 employees and seven locations across the Puget Sound region. He held full P&L responsibility and directed HR, operations, compliance, and labor relations. That experience gives him a perspective most attorneys don't have: he has sat on both sides of the table — as the executive making the call and as the lawyer advising on it. When he reviews your severance agreement, walks you through a partnership breakup, or helps you decide whether to sign a lease, you get both the legal analysis and the operational judgment behind it.
Rob returned to legal practice in late 2025 to launch Gillette Legal Services. He earned his J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School and his B.A. in English from Rice University. He has coached Queen Anne Little League since 2017 and serves on its Board of Directors as Secretary.
