Time after time I was forgetful or disorganized on submitting the information he needed. He was great at gently reminding me and keeping "me" on track. Matthew is very responsive. He responded quickly to each of my requests. He actually responded to me when he was in Mexico on a family vacation. I believe that Matthew genuinely puts his clients' issues and concerns to the forefront. He knows our initial fears of facing bankruptcy and walks you through it one on one. I never felt "alone" or that I didn't know what to expect. Aside from Matthew's knowledge, compassion and expertise, he has a great style. He's humerous, witty, and down to earth. He brings a wit and style that is really refreshing. As far as my personal case goes, I can't say enough for the attention to detail and effort Matthew put into my case. He was flexible with receiving payment, as he referred to as an honor or trust payment. This flexibility is initially what allowed me to be able to utilize his services. Even after getting my Bankruptcy dischared as he said it would be, Matthew helped me pull through a potential eviction as well as retrieved a portion of payments back to me that I had been making to two toxic loan companies! Normally I wouldn't write two reviews but Matt's earned this. He stopped the auction of my home mid-2015 and got me approved for a 3-month trial modification that I completed in December. It's March now, so I should've already sent Matt a bottle of scotch as a final thank you and be a few paymen...ts in on my new mortgage, right? Nope. My lender's attorneys have lost or ignored pretty much every required document we've provided and now: "Whoops! We had you fill out the wrong version of the trial modification form. Start over." Digging through Matt's emails with their attorney on this issue, I realized the ridiculous amount of time he's spent over the last few months reminding them of when we provided the documents and when/how they acknowledged receiving them. He's made every effort to get the modified loan to happen and the failure is solely on them. Thanks to Matt, he's got them back on track, foreclosure is off the table, and the end is near. His patience and attention to detail have been just outstanding as has his commitment to ensuring I have the best outcome. I'm nominating him for sainthood.

Matt knows what he's doing. Period. I spent years trying to navigate through the foreclosure process on my own without success, so just before the auction date, I hired him to fix the mess I was in.
