My wife and I held an adjustable rate mortgage which was scheduled to have the interest rate adjust upward during the same time the real-estate housing market collapsed from defaults on mortgages. We repeatedly tried to contact our lender to obtain a loan modification and had no success not even a re...turned phone call. The lender went straight to foreclosure proceedings. Matthew was not only able to stop the foreclosure process but due to statues in the state of WA he was able to get a loan modification for us. Matthew was not only personable but also punctual when meeting. When working with the Lender's legal counsel Matthew more then once called out their attorney for not correctly interpreting the WA state statues and stood his ground in our defense. The outcome let us keep our home of 25 years. I hired Mr. Anderson over 3 years ago to help with a foreclosure after reading all of the great reviews. I did not experience anything along those lines. Mr. Anderson failed to file needed paperwork although I had a family law attorney available, he kept delaying proceedings since he said how great o...f a negotiator he was, and failed to make any progress in the case. Now, the foreclosure is back at step one, decimating my credit every month due to his lack of action. He did not keep me informed at all, and in some cases was extremely rude and condescending toward me. In fact, he disappeared quite often and when pressed for answers would talk in circles. I got nothing from his services and wish I would have fired him much sooner.
