When I set out to obtain re-fis for my two houses I was hesitant and afraid of any recourse that the mortgage companies would have, being that I was way behind in my payments. Matthew told me that mediation was the best way to go for a number of reasons. He was right. Now years later I still own my h...ouses and have not been bullied by the mortgage companies. Last week I went through a Pre-Mediation Meeting with Mr. Anderson and the Mortgage Company as well as their local appointed lawyer. I have been through one of these meetings before with a different lawyer and it was disastrous.
