Excellent Attorney

My husband and I hired Matthew to avoid a foreclosure and bankruptcy. He has successfully secured our first mortgage at a amazing low interest rate and he is diligently working on our 2nd loan and bankruptcy. He is hard working, dedicated and professional. We have complete confidence in Matthew and f...eel at ease with him during such a stressful process. We highly recommend Matthew Anderson and are indebted to him and see a sense of peace in our future. Thank you Matthew for all that you have done for our family.

An attorney that helps

Thankfully I was able to find Matthew Anderson. I found him as a last ditch effort on line to help me when I was about to lose my home. I had worked with my lender and HUD companies for about 2 years with stress and no success. Matthew discussed with me about filing a chapter 13 in order to save my... home. I hired him and immediately felt an immense relief as he worked out a repayment plan that was manageable for me and kept me in my home. Matthew is knowledgeable and has multiple resources at his disposal. I thank Matthew for working diligently on my case and would highly recommend him. Matthew is an attorney that is here to help.

Removal of Home Equity Obligation

Just before 2006 when the housing market took a nose dive my wife and I had obtained $125k home equity loan to pay for some needed repairs and upgrades to our house. When we applied for the home equity loan our house appraised for $500k. At that time our first mortgage was $300k so we figured if we ...did the work we should end up with at least $200k + in equity. No brainer right? Well sometime the best plans don't always work out so good. During the crash our homes value dropped to under $300k. This is when we sought out for help from Matthew. All our mortgage and home equity lender wanted to do was foreclose on us and would not even return a phone call to us. Matthew not only took over communications with the lenders but informed us that the state of Washington had put in place state statue laws that allowed for the dismissal of an 2 position lender obligation if you owed more on your 1st mortgage then your house was worth. This was the case for us. With Matthew's help we went through the process of removing the home equity lender's lien and our debt obligation. We totally dodged a bullet and were able to stay in our house. Matthew also helped us through the process with the 1st mortgage lender to obtain a loan modification through the Affordable Housing Act passed by Congress. The result... Our Mortgage is now more affordable then before the whole mess started. With out Matthew's help we would have crashed and burned and who knows we most likely would not own a house today. As it is we love where we live and can't thank Matthew enough for his knowledge and assistance. We would highly recommend connecting with Matthew if you have found yourself in a similar financial situation. Matthew always treated us with dignity and respect and never made us feel like we were irresponsible or had really screwed up. Can't say enough good things about Matthew's professionalism!

Worst experience with an attorney

I hired Mr. Anderson over 3 years ago to help with a foreclosure after reading all of the great reviews. I did not experience anything along those lines. Mr. Anderson failed to file needed paperwork although I had a family law attorney available, he kept delaying proceedings since he said how great o...f a negotiator he was, and failed to make any progress in the case. Now, the foreclosure is back at step one, decimating my credit every month due to his lack of action. He did not keep me informed at all, and in some cases was extremely rude and condescending toward me. In fact, he disappeared quite often and when pressed for answers would talk in circles. I got nothing from his services and wish I would have fired him much sooner.
