Grateful client

Matthew and his team are great at what they do. We presented them with a complicated case and they helped us each step of the way to achieve an optimal outcome. Of course there are were some hiccups along the way but we are always sure that Matthew was doing everything in his power to help us succeed.... My family and I are truly grateful.

Mart does a great job!

Thanks to Matthew Anderson on his dedication and hard work on settling my bankruptcy case. He was very thoughtful and patient in explaining everything in complete details so there would be no surprises, and as noted it went exactly as he said it would. That helped make for an easier decision to go ah...ead with doing the bankruptcy. I would most definitely refer Matthew Anderson to anyone of my friends looking for a bankrupt lawyer.

Amazing Experience...Mortgage modification & bankruptcy

After going through two other attorneys and them promise us the world 4 years later with zero outcome, Matthew Anderson followed through with everything that he said he could do for us. He is an amazing attorney with vast knowledge of mortgage modification and bankruptcy. He got our mortgage modifi...ed and completed our bankruptcy for us. He completed everything that he said he would do for us, we could not have been more pleased with our results. Thanks Matthew!

Jumbo Loan gets Modified

I’ve always been a very financially secure person, however when the housing market crashed and some unforeseen family issues arose, I had to make the very difficult decision whether keeping our new home (purchased a month before the market crash) made financial sense. Our loan was issued by the infam...ous Countrywide and was so poor that after its value dropped by over $500,000, all I felt we were doing was throwing good money after bad. Not wanting to relocate the family and lose our home, I reached out to Matthew Anderson in an effort to renegotiate the loan and bring it in line with the current market. No one was willing to refinance a jumbo loan with the value so far underwater. Matthew spent countless hours working with me and the bank detailing out what options were available. I won’t deny that there were points of stress and frustration, as the bank dragged their feet and the process seemed to be going nowhere, however Matthew kept encouraging me that things were looking positive and to be patient. During the negotiation, the bank attempted to deny a modification and was found by the mediator to be failing to negotiate in good faith. In the next 30 days, the bank agreed to a modification that allowed us to keep our home. Did we get everything we wanted, no, but when I spoke to a couple of senior people in a bank mortgage department, they were shocked with the offer we received, stating “No one is getting loans like this today for the size and rate you received.” This was only due to the hard work and persistence Matthew had to ensure the bank followed the law. Even if you feel your making too much to obtain a modification, or your home’s value is outside of the government’s qualification, don’t hesitate to reach out to Matthew before it’s too late. He was the only lawyer I could find that didn’t try to promise unreasonable changes. He set expectations based upon what the law would allow, and understood not only real estate, but also banking laws and the new mortgage modification laws. Without him I would not be in my home today.

Pre-Mediation Meeting with Mr. Anderson

Last week I went through a Pre-Mediation Meeting with Mr. Anderson and the Mortgage Company as well as their local appointed lawyer. I have been through one of these meetings before with a different lawyer and it was disastrous. So, needless to say my anxiety level was through the roof… Mr. Anders...on met with me a few minutes before, explained what to expect, and said let him speak for me. So, I was cool….. They did ask me one or two questions directly. I answered truthfully and distinctly to the best of my knowledge and all was well. On the way home I was relieved that the Mortgage Company was willing to work with me and I also thought that I am very lucky guy to finally have a Lawyer, Mr. Matthew Anderson , who is representing me, with my best interests in mind! I highly recommend The Law Offices of Matthew W. Anderson, and his wonderful staff.
