Biography
I grew up in the Denver Colorado area, and was active in outdoor activities. I moved to the Portland area to attend law school and because of the great outdoor and natural beauty of the Northwest, I made the area my home. i am active in skiing and biking and other sporting events every chance I get, as it renews my zest for life and my energy for work.
I take get joy and pride helping individuals and small business in a variety of areas where they may need help and my legal expertise and experience gained after practing law for over 39 years.

Excellent Attorney

Unprofessional and Rude
First two interactions with Kirk Roberts, he was rude and unprofessional . He made easy some easy money of me, and didn’t add any value. Later, he got really nasty and dropped another case.

Replied last November 30, 2024It is difficult to know if this from someone I represented or from an opposing party, as the "rating" is made with out any context or attribution as to who posted this. If I take a case on I do not drop clients without notice or for a valid reason. If this is from a unhappy opposing party who lost his case to my deserving client, I am sorry you feel a need to misuse this rating service. If it is from a actual former clent I hope you can call me to discuss what your grievances are in a positive conversation.

Greedy Lawyer
In 30 min payed consultation of what is considered an easy name change issue, Kirk spent 5 min listening and asking condescending questions. At the end of our conversation I understood that you had, or would, be accessing the court website I directed you to, so you could proceed with a "do it yourself" name change, as you did not want me to represent you in filing it on your behalf, after I answered all of your questions. “I was hired by a client on a car crash claim, who then hired a 2nd lawyer on the same claim, after I had spent considerable time on the case. Before we could reach agreement on the terms for release of the file, I mailed a letter to client and the 2nd lawyer notifying of the need to file the claim before the deadline for filing the claim expired. While I made a mistake in communicating w/ client when he had a new lawyer, my intent was to protect the client, so he would not miss the deadline.”
