Greedy Lawyer
In 30 min payed consultation of what is considered an easy name change issue, Kirk spent 5 min listening and asking condescending questions. After that he was "selling" me his services and refused to even point to the right direction. English is not my first language and court procedures could be a b...
I am sorry you had a bad experience during the FREE consultation I provided to you. I did not receive any payment from you or your referral source. At the end of our conversation I understood that you had, or would, be accessing the court website I directed you to, so you could proceed with a "do it yourself" name change, as you did not want me to represent you in filing it on your behalf, after I answered all of your questions. However, if you still do have some general questions about the process, you should please feel free to call me back to discuss, and I will do everything I can to answer your questions. However, attorney's do not give specific legal advice on matters until they are retained, as the providing of specific legal advice creates a attorney-client relationship, with professional responsibilities beyond inquires associated with FREE consultations.

Super!
I have never had to hire an attorney, and to be honest I almost didn’t due to me thinking I would never be able to win against a large property management company. After my first call with Kirk I felt that I had options and a truthful look at my side of the case as well as thoughts of how the other ...

Knowledgeable and helpful
Kirk was of great assistance to me through my divorce. As I'm sure many of you here will know, divorces are a messy and confusing thing to navigate. With Kirk's help and 'no pressure' guidance I felt confident in how the divorce proceeded. My ex was doing their utmost to leave me with nothing form th...

Very Satisfied
Kirk handled one case for my family. He was thorough and stayed in touch often. We never felt "in the dark" about what was happening. He got us the best outcome we could have asked for in our situation.
"Mr. Roberts is a very understanding and highly skilled attorney. He has low key style paired with a highly analytical mind. He is well respected among his attorney peers for his knowledge in personal injury law and criminal defense."

Reprimand issued in OR, 2019
updated on 12/03/2020This means the lawyer did something wrong but the bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
“I was hired by a client on a car crash claim, who then hired a 2nd lawyer on the same claim, after I had spent considerable time on the case. Before we could reach agreement on the terms for release of the file, I mailed a letter to client and the 2nd lawyer notifying of the need to file the claim before the deadline for filing the claim expired. While I made a mistake in communicating w/ client when he had a new lawyer, my intent was to protect the client, so he would not miss the deadline.”
