Biography
Erik is an experienced DUI and Criminal Defense attorney with over 14 years of courtroom experience. He has successfully represented clients facing a wide range of criminal charges, including DUI, theft, assault and more. His practice, The Law Offices of Erik Nicholson, serves the Tigard and surrounding Oregon areas. Erik has a passion for defending the accused and is happy to give a free case evaluation and consultation to anyone in need.
Erik's Background:
After graduating from Oregon State University Erik Nicholson attended Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco where he received his Juris Doctorate and graduated amongst the top of his class. While at Golden Gate University, he was on the Dean’s Honor list seven of his nine terms. He was also twice awarded the Cali Excellence for the Future Award in both advanced criminal procedure and advanced contract law for achieving the top grade in his class.
Throughout law school Erik worked at a private criminal defense law firm where he had the unique opportunity to learn about and participate in all stages of a criminal case. For his final year of law school he interned at the prestigious San Francisco Public Defender’s office where he was put on the major felony rotation.
After graduation Erik was offered an associate attorney position and practiced criminal defense throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and various other Northern California Counties. He successfully represented hundreds of clients before deciding to start The Law Offices of Erik Nicholson in his home state of Oregon.

Mr. Nicholson delivered!
Three months ago I had an unfortunate accident that left me facing four serious counts including discharging a firearm in public. I'm a responsible father of two with no criminal record and was literally scared to death of what might happen to me, my family and my career if this accident was punished...

Great experience under the circumstances
Mr. Nicholson kept me informed but did not give me the back and forth and back and forth racking up more money for no reason. Mr. Nicholson made me feel relieved and confident that he would and did get the job done in a very timely manner. Thank you!!

Erik Nicholson-- my favorite attorney.
