Lisa helped me years, 17 or so, ago. She was compassionate and cared about what was happening to me. Her work allowed me to escape from a life destroying mistake - one that harmed no one. Her name came up today in discussion with my wife, a discussion I most likely would not be having without her help, and I decided to give a little advice for people in need of help. Preparation, tenacity, compassion. Its a repeat of other reviews and there is a reason for that.

Lisa is thorough; very thorough. Her preparation leads her adversaries to be wary, but her warm personality persuades even the most jaded judges and prosecutors to listen to her levelheaded arguments. She knows her stuff, and uses her knowledge of the law and her people skills to achieve the best possible results for her client. She helped me with a case that wasn't very serious, but she treated it like it was, and kept me informed on the progress along the way. I would recommend her without reservation.

I was charged with DV (kidnapping & assult) by my wife. Lisa asked me what happened and thought needed investigation. Later, found out I was married to an international fugitive and needed green card to get out of Korea. DV conviction would have gave my wife the greencard because I refuse to help due to her bad behavior. She is definitely a trial attorney who knows how to fight for you in the courtroom. I knew I was innocent with DV charge and I needed a great trial attorney and don't need a good negotiator for pre-bargain. If you are innocent, just go to a trial and don't take any pre-bargain from DA. Yes, I was scared and upset but I trusted Lisa's ability to defend me and believed in our democratic court system. For my case, it was dismissed by DA before the trial started because strong proof against my wife's lies. I learned from this experience that police can legally lie and they don't have to tell the truth inside the courtroom. Eventually truth will come out in the trial thus you should always go to a trial if you know you are innocent and someone lied against you (even it's police word against yours). Make sure you have a good trial attorney and I recommend Lisa anytime. She is one tough lady in the courtroom. Thank you Lisa.
