Great counsel and coaching paid off

I was unexpectedly terminated by my employer and given a lengthy document to sign, all of which protected and indemnified the company, but gave me nothing. Tracy reviewed the document and came up with issues that were illegal under California law and other issues that they weren't considering. The st...rategy was for me to do the corresponding and talking with her coaching and guidance, because if she responded directly on my behalf, they would lawyer up and it would get really expensive really fast. Tracy and I wrote a detailed response with many questions and challenges, signed only by me. My phone call to go over it didn't seem to go well, but the next day they came back with a dramatically different attitude and offer. I'm sure they ran it past their attorneys who saw that I had solid points coming from counsel. I was now provided a package that included compensation, an excellent outplacement service, keeping me as an employee while I searched for jobs and later on I will become a company retiree for life (which has benefits). I'm very grateful to Tracy for her counseling and kindness--and for being my secret weapon in the background who turned a terrible mess around into something that was as good as it could be.

A poor situation made GREAT

I had consulted with Tracy several times over the course of a year while going through some questionable workplace issues. Each time we spoke she listened closely and was able to quickly assess my rights in the situation and a reasonable route to proceed. I later retained her when the situation escal...ated. Very methodically, she gathered all facts and presented my case in a way that offered a winning solution for both me and my employer. Personally and professionally this one of the more difficult times of my life. Tracy was always the voice of reason, my strongest advocate and reminded me that light was at end of this difficult tunnel. Tracy treated all parties with respect and dignity. This was instrumental in reaching a swift and fair resolution. Tracy is someone that I was proud and confident having represent me. She is incredibly bright, strategic and equitable. I have recommended her to several friends and former colleagues and will continue to do so. I can't thank her enough!

Lemmon is no lemon! :-)

I had a wonderful attorney-client experience with Tracy! Of course, no one really wants to see a lawyer -- but if you have to, especially around all things related to termination, severance, unemployment, etc -- Tracy is the one to see. She was directly available to engage from the onset, often adj...usting her busy schedule to meet mine. When engaged, Tracy was a great listener -- validating my suggestions around next steps -- but also gently guiding me in different, if not better directions, when needed. Finally, with her coaching and guidance -- we were able to improve the size of my severance package, both in time and dollars. Could not be more satisfied with Tracy Lemmon's efforts -- and I know you will be more than satisfied, too.

Excellent Employment Attorney

My sister and brother are both attorneys, and when I had an employment issue, I asked each of them for a referral. Separately, both immediately recommended Tracy. And now I know why. She's professional, communicates well, really listens and does a thorough job of obtaining facts so she's fully pre...pared prior to negotiation, gives an honest opinion and sets realistic expectations, uses her experience and strong negotiation skills to help get you the best possible outcome, represents you as if you were family, and even follows through after everything is signed to make sure all the terms of agreement are adhered to and you receive what you were promised. She's also conscientious about not running up hours and making sure she's providing high value services. A number of times, we had to deal with an antagonistic attorney representing the company, and Tracy not only settled down the attorney so we could negotiate and find common ground, but also made sure we had language in the settlement agreement that truly represented my interests and provided me protections and peace of mind. In the past, I'd been on the company side of human resources and negotiating to mitigate company risk and cash outlays and only represented company interests. Now that I found myself on 'the other side' I felt fortunate to have Tracy representing me. Some of the terms Tracy negotiated on my behalf, quite honestly, I was surprised that she was able to obtain for me, given they are typically hard lines that companies almost never agree to in a settlement. If you ever find yourself needing a masterful employment law attorney, then Tracy is who you want in your court.

Hard working, honest lawyer.

I hired Tracy for a pregnancy and gender discrimination / wrongful termination issue. The case was a difficult one, and took longer than we both expected, but she dug her heels in and worked extremely hard to get me the results I wanted. Tracy always had my best interests in mind, and took the time t...o explain next steps and my options / next moves during the case. I never felt in the dark or out of the loop- I was always in control of the situation with her helpful guidance. She ended up getting me the settlement I wanted, within the time frame I had hoped for. I would not hesitate to work with her again, or to refer her to any family or friend. She truly cares about her clients and getting them the justice they deserve.
