A rigid thinker and does not try very hard
I had a consultation and briefly hired Jacob, but I found that he had rigidly held beliefs and spoke patronizingly to me even though I have also attended a good law school. I had an employment issue, and he didn't try very hard to see my point of view or find legal basis to support my case. ("I know ...
This client did not like me. Not all my clients are going to like me. So the parts of this review that amount to 'I did not like him' are true. Some of the other things written here are false. It's important that I listen carefully to my clients, but I am not going to agree with all my clients all of the time. This client reacted very poorly to my not seeing eye-to-eye with them. I hope that their next lawyer was a better fit.

Super Jacob!
This guy Jacob is the MAN! I called him in regards to a small employment issue where i was terminated without being paid my cleared expenses. He listened to my lengthy story and was johnny on the spot with the information he absorbed and sorted into a well worded response. The outcome was perfect ...

He left me in the lurch
I had retained attorney Sider due to harassment at my job. It was a difficult situation and I reluctantly decided that I was not ready to leave my job without a new job and that it would be difficult for me to negotiate a severance agreement at that time. About two weeks later, I found out I was ...
This former client of mine is not telling the truth here. I can't go into too much detail, due to the confidential nature of our communications. Without going into specific communications, this client actually discharged ME, not the other way around. When you discharge an attorney, the attorney does owe you some ongoing duties, but, for the good of both the client and the attorney, it is important to have clear communication that the representation has closed. At the time of the "curt email", this person was no longer my client - as a result of their own decision. An attorney who reminds you that they no longer represent you is not leaving you "in the lurch." I am sorry that this person lost their rental home. I can see how the stress of such difficult circumstances might cause a person to lash out at the nearest and easiest target. I hope they landed on their feet.

Excellent Professional Attorney
Jacob has all the business acumen a client can expect from an attorney. His due diligence of the case, recommendations( salt to the ground style), timely fashion returning calls. With my issue regarding my former employer Jacob was the only attorney who took the true time to listen to case and provid...
