Biography
Will Bruzzo has been a lawyer since 1993. He has been admitted to the State Bar of California since 1996 and to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania since 1993. The primary emphasis of his practice has been criminal law. Will has successfully represented hundreds of clients in the Superior Court of California throughout Southern California to include Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, Riverside and San Diego counties. In 2001 he represented the Defendant in the infamous “cat torturer” case that was widely reported in the media.
In 1993 Will began his career in the United States Marine Corps as a Military Lawyer. He was honorably discharged in 2000 as a Major. His Marine Corps career included positions as a Company Commander in a 500 Marine Company and as the Executive Officer in a Headquarters Company with the 4th Tank Battalion in Mira Mesa, California. Mr. Bruzzo continues to defend Marines and other service members accused under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

Mr. Bruzzo graduated from the University of Dayton School of Law in Dayton, Ohio in 1992. He graduated from the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York in 1989. He is admitted to the Federal Bar for the Central District of Southern California in addition to the state bars indicated above.
Seven years of Mr. Bruzzo’s childhood was spent in Spain. As a result he speaks fluent Spanish.
Mr. Bruzzo was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award in Civil Procedure while in Law School. Mr. Bruzzo was an all-star soccer player for the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in 29 Palms, California. He continues to play soccer and sponsor local teams.

Replied last June 20, 2020This is the same client who posted the only other negative review I have. Notably, he points out that his case was DISMISSED ... this is the only thing he says which is not a misrepresentation. He had a maximum of several years in prison that he was facing. After representing the client over a period of months I could tell he had significant issues. I used my experience of over 20 years and my connections in the court to get him into a community court program in Orange County, although he did not meet a critical prerequisite for getting into the program. However, because of the respect the court had for me and the fact I volunteer there, it helped him get in. After I made the deal for the dismissal with the District Attorney and the Judge and after he completed the 18 month program the case was to be dismissed. In addition to not being sentenced to even ONE DAY OF JAIL and getting the case dismissed, the client got much needed help at county expense. The public defender appears with the client for progress reviews after a deal is reached as is the custom in that court. In fact I was present at the dismissal since I volunteer there, although I was seated in the gallery as he had already become inexplicably hostile to me at that point. With over 20 years of experience as a criminal defense attorney you will simply run across bitter, ungrateful people like this gentleman ... it comes with the territory. Remarkably, HE gave me a signed testimonial attesting to the great deal I got for him. Not only did I know the program he entered into, I am probably the only guy who could have gotten him into it. As you can see from the other reviews and the testimonials on my web site, I get extraordinary results for my client ... and this client's situation was no exception!
