Navid Moshtael

What can I say about these guys! I will admit, Navid pitches you a great selling point to get you into his firm as a client. Tells you what you need to hear and how it’s going to work and all the hope in the world. The thing is you never expect them to actually deliver on it! Mind you my case is quit...e complicated to say the least and it has been going on for over a year… But not to the fault of the firm but the constant purposeful leg dragging brought upon by the other attorneys. Well, let’s just say they won’t be doing that anymore! My case is still ongoing but what I can see is this… Let’s start with Brett Grover. I, although it is on a billable time, would gladly say that if he didn’t have to bill me he wouldn’t, lol. I say that because he genuinely cares about my concerns, the process, sharing information and preparing for each case with you individually. He genuinely understands how having as much information can never hurt as he wants to be able to look at your case from all angles. He doesn’t feed you nonsense or tries to sugarcoat with the results may be or what your possibilities are but gives it to you straight and I can truly appreciate that. He is thorough and double checks and triple checks with you to make sure that your position and your stance are still the same and what you want is conveyed clearly and concise in the court room. Another great aspect I enjoy about Brett is not only does he practice the law but he will teach you law so you can have an understanding of what is going on and WHY that approach may or may not be useful instead of just telling you/shooting you down and letting you blindly go in there to see things self-destruct. Brett has gained my trust and assist me in any way he can with the knowledge he has gained over his years of experience. Thank you Brett and I value you. As for Navid. Navid, Navid, Navid... he is a character, lol. And I gladly welcome it! He is a straight shooter giving you realistic expectations while still trying to achieve unremarkable results. I remember in my consultation with Navid that I said, “I wanted a bulldog in the court room.” He then told me, “yeah it’s nice to have that but it’s all flashy and theatrics but it doesn’t matter if it doesn’t get you results. What’s the biggest focus is how to attack the problem and not the other client or the court!” And it was those words that made me take a chance. I was consumed by having an aggressive attorney that will no longer let me be taken advantage of. And let me tell you he has shown to be quite assertive and increasingly focal with pinpoint precision on the matters at hand. In the court room he is your money maker! Adhering to your concerns and making it very clear on each directive and procedure that needs to be referenced and why this is the best decision the courts can make. I am a single father still fighting the stigma that is slowly changing within the court rooms of a mother needing to have the child more than their dad. This law firm is helping change that stigma and change the perceptions of fathers and allow them to be more present in the children’s lives as it takes both parents to raise that child especially if they want to be involved. He stresses heavily on coparenting and tells you what your responsibility is and what you need to do to show what is right and selfless. I may have doubted Navid at the beginning but now I could tell you this… In my corner he will stay as he continues to fight to undo all the wrongs that were done before. So to you both I think you and I appreciate your time that you have put in and your willingness to work with me and all aspects. Here’s to a better tomorrow in hopes of getting everything we want. I recently retained the Moshtael Family Law firm to represent me in a DVRO case. I had filed the DVTRO using a different law firm. However, two days before my scheduled hearing, I decided to switch law firms because during the three weeks of my TRO, I realized that I was dealing with an extreme narci...ssist with other severe mental instabilities. The opposing counsel had been aggressive with his tactics and was showing signs of narcissism himself. I realized I had a high conflict case on hand, and I needed the best lawyers with lots of experience dealing with narcissists. After my initial phone conversation with Navid, I decided to retain his firm because he demonstrated his dedication and experience. In fact, it was a Sunday, and Navid took the time to reach out quickly since he knew my hearing was in two days. He laid out his strategy for my case after hearing my side of the story. He analyzed how the opposing counsel may fight the case. I worked mainly with Erin Noonan and Dan Knowlton for my RO case, and within one month they helped me obtain a five-year DVRO. Erin has been very organized and helped me sort through the mountain of evidence. All my interactions with her has been enjoyable. She speaks openly and frankly. She has a way of putting my mind as ease, which has been great help for me mentally. Whenever I asked her to do something, she responded timely and with a high level of professionalism. Dan was the lawyer that did the deposition on the respondent and appeared at all my hearings. Dan is witty, focused, and has great strategy. I honestly enjoyed watching him in action in court. He asked great questions, and with lots of respect and grace. I believe the judge was able to observe Dan’s respect for the court and everyone involved as well. He is logical in his questioning. He is also humble and discussed things with me openly. Dan helped me prepare and stay focused in the cross examination, which was the part that gave me the most anxiety. I was a victim in domestic abuse, and the opposing counsel did not hesitate to re-victimize me. However, Dan helped me center myself and focus on my facts. I believe I did a great job in the cross examination because of that. I am so glad I retained the Moshtael Family Law firm. I did not have a particularly strong case, and it sure was high conflict. I am thankful to everyone involved, especially Dan and Erin, for giving me this best outcome that I could have hoped for.

Navid has been awesome so far! I was served papers on a Friday afternoon. But I couldn't get the lawyer I was speaking with prior on the phone I called Moshtael family law group. He was nice enough to make time to call me after his office had already closed for the week, he explained everything to me... thoroughly. He is no nonsense and up front about everything. I instantaneously felt better as soon as I hung up the phone with him. We met the next afternoon, even though it was a Saturday. He gave me documents that I need to sign and all of my homework that I needed to do. I finished my things on Sunday and emailed them on Monday morning. I went to Mr. Moshtael for help with a court motion my ex-husband filed. I had reached out to a couple of other firms and I did not feel comfortable with them. A couple of the firms I saw just sort of brushed me off when I started explaining my situation. Mr. Moshtael was willing to see me the same... day I called his firm. He was welcoming, receptive when I stated my case, and he put me at ease when I expressed my apprehension about what I was dealing with. He gave me paperwork with clear instructions on what I had to do. I left his office feeling confident they would be able to help me. Mr. Wellman was assigned my case, and he did a great job in court when he represented me. I was almost nervous about how confident he seemed, but I shouldn't have been! I am amazed at how quickly my case was resolved with their help! The staff I dealt with is friendly and helpful. I would first like to say that I had a very complicated case which was given to Navid with only 2 weeks to prepare for a trial which included getting my kids back from their Narcissistic father and go to trail on a move away. In a complete state of panic I began looking online and reviewing yelp re...views for a number of attorneys. I felt completely hopeless….. After much research and numerous reviews of the state bars records, I sent a message to Mr. Navid Moshtael. I was impressed from the beginning because he responded to me on a Saturday. Not only did he respond, he took his time to listen to my concerns, and was very honest and frank with where we were at with my case. Without paying him a penny for his time, he outlined what his plan would be and how he would address the issues at hand. You know that gut feeling you get? Well I got that, and I knew he was the one for me and my kids. I also did my homework and spoke with a past client of his who also spoke very highly of Navid and referred to his as “a god in the courtroom.” THAT’S what me and my kids needed! I met with Navid the following Monday where he spent over an hour listening to me and how we got to where we were. And it was a lot! 6 years of mess. Not only was he professional and didn’t rush me, which I deeply appreciated. He was genuinely interested in what was going on with us and was very honest about the multiple ways that my case could be approached and went over all of the possible outcomes. In this free consultation, I had already received more information than I had received after spending $8,200! I knew he was the one at this point. He’s a very bright and strategic man. The communication that I had between Navid and his assistant Kim was everything that I was looking for. I had a bad taste in my mouth from my previous experience and they were very sensitive to that. Not just Navid, but Kim spent HOURS (at my request) going over every note, police report, picture, e-mail ect all while taking notes while I explained everything. She was creating her strategy! Every time I went to the office or received an e-mail from either of them, I ALWAYS felt my heart breathe a sign of relief. I also want to say that every e-mail I sent, I got a same day response, unlike my former attorney that would take up to 5 days to respond. To me this is unacceptable as you hire attorney’s for council that is sometimes needed right then and there, that’s what your paying for! This was the worst experience of my life and I even ended up in the emergency room with hives from head to toe that’s how bad I was stressing. Navid never made me promises and I appreciated that. I didn’t feel like he was trying to reel me in with false promises just to get my money. His concern is very genuine. Navid handled the day with ease despite the many curve balls thrown. I was very impressed. Prior to our trial the opposing council tried to intimidate and bully Navid and he wasn’t having it. Navid is very professional, he knows the law and he presses forward and doesn’t waist time on the drama others like to cause. In the courtroom: Navid was very professional, and did not have any problem challenging the judge on certain laws that he knew were not being followed. He navigated things with such finesse that he got the judge to throw out the previous evaluators testimony (which was a miracle) and challenged other important things. He quoted case law and codes and when all was done I got my babies back! I know for a fact that we have a corrupt legal system. If you want an attorney that know’s his law, is not intimidated by the judge or opposing council, Navid is the ONLY one you need!
