This is the second time that I hired the Moshtael Group. I 100% trust them. Even though I have been divorced for a decade it has been a constant battle with my ex over money and time with my children. Over the last two years my ex-wife actively engaged behaviors that were harming myself and my children forcing me to take legal action. Do they communicate with you? Can you reach them by cell phone in an emergency? Do they get the job done? I can say that the answer was YES to all of those questions. Back in March, my wife and I decided to separate. I thought that the separation would last a short period of time and that we would figure things out. But once I found out that my ex had no positive intentions and that she was preparing for "war" and that she would try and take me to the cleaners, I ...realized that this was something I could not take care of on my own, and that I needed experts on my side to have my back and to help defend me from all the road blocks, speed bumps, and issues that my case could possibly result in. And I was absolutely right; my ex had a very aggressive game plan, that I was unaware of, and ever since then we have been in an extremely contentious custody/financial/divorce battle with bogus accusations, lies upon lies, and heartless behavior from the opposing side. I was so scared and nervous, and anxious and I had no idea what I was going to do or who I would turn to. I called maybe over 20 attorneys, and I was not impressed by any of them. We spoke for about an hour at no charge, and he quickly impressed me with his knowledge, experience, wisdom, and his empathy towards my situation. And he was the first attorney to tell me the truth of what I should expect moving forward. He did not BS me, he told me how it was, and he gave me a step by step plan as to how we would game plan for all the crud that would be thrown at us during the entire process. And something else I really appreciated from him was that due to my financial situation at that time the retainer was set at a certain amount; but he reduced it in order to allow me to be able to actually afford his services. Thank you for that Navid! The next day, I retained the services of this office. I was assigned Mr. Lance Duran who is an excellent, excellent attorney who has had my back every step of the way! He knows when to be aggressive, when to be more cautious, and he has been able to get me, the most favorable custody/and support schedule for me at this time; with the game plan to get an even more favorable schedule in the coming months. My paralegal Brandy Chapin has been able to answer every single question I have, and if she can't she will do whatever it takes to find the answer for me. The accounting department always work with me and they understand my financial situation and they never make me feel pressured in any way. I just met Adrian Rogers, and Rebecca Stone who have been great in helping me with all my discovery items. Everyone their is professional, nice, empathetic to your situation, and amazing at what they do. This team is efficient, timely, and most importantly.....THEY HAVE MY BACK! During the most difficult time in my life, I have the most amazing team behind me, and as long as that is the case I will always feel confident, hopeful, and optimistic as to what the future holds for me, my children, and my future. I am an attorney that practices family law in Michigan. One of my family members hired Mr. Navid Moshtael to represent her in a complex divorce/custody matter in Orange County, California. The case dealt with various issues, such as spousal support, child custody, child support, and the division of a...ssets. My family member kept me apprised of all stages of her divorce matter. I had the opportunity to observe Mr. Moshtael’s legal representation both behind the scenes and in court. Although I am not licensed to practice law in the state of California, I have had the opportunity to observe and interact with countless divorce attorneys in Michigan. I am NOT easily impressed when it comes to observing other attorneys. However, I can say with absolute confidence that Mr. Moshtael is, by far, the sharpest family law attorney that I have observed. He is extremely experienced and very sharp. I was in a court battle for almost 5 years with little results. After ONE day in court with Jim Wellman, I FINALLY got the outcome that I deserved!! Not only did he keep my custody schedule as is, he was able to keep my Spousal Support the same even though my ex was trying to have it completely stopp...ed. Last, he got my child support increased!! It was a GREAT day in court!!
