SCOTTIE IS THE BEST!

I found Scottie after talking to about 10 different lawyers, some were overly aggressive, promising the moon and stars and asking for a lot of money. I wanted a lawyer who cared about me as a person, understood my position as a single mom and who I knew would truly be an advocate for myself and my baby. That is Exactly what Scottie was! She not only kicked butt in the court room but she gave me back my voice after I was kicked down mentally and verbally from the abuse I endured via the father of my child. Scottie was always very realistic about how the courts handle custody cases and what I could REALLY ask for/expect. She didn’t sell me a dream to leave me hanging. She stood by my side and delivered! My custody hearing went the best it could for my daughter and I, as Scottie was able to get me everything I requested from the judge! Scottie gets a 10/10 In my book!

Scottie is the Best!!

Met with Scottie beginning in 2017 for my divorce. My ex had an issue with teen porn and other things I won't go into. Scottie listened and helped me in great detail document all of it and protect myself and my son from a long battle in court. I filed for divorce in 2018. After my divorce was final in June of 2019, Scottie helped me with another legal matter and was as incredibly responsive and helpful as she was going into the divorce. Scottie will be my "go to attorney" for all matters she handles moving forward!

Custody

Scottie is absolutely amazing ! She listened to my every concern regarding my custody situation, and did amazing at the hearing! She is intelligent and sweet , let me tell you SHE KNOWS HER STUFF. I highly recommend her and I’d hire her again if I need an attorney again.

Divorced

I came from a long term marriage that was emotionally and finacially abusive and with the guidance of Scottie and her team I was successful in getting my divorce !!! Scottie and her team are kind and loving people

Excellent Advocate

I consulted with Family Law Matters for a domestic violence restraining order that I filed against my wife. She had a criminal and a civil restraining orders against her. She abused me during our entire marriage and decided to file a restraining order against me. After I decided to hire this firm, Scottie was assigned to my case and she was amazing. She kept me informed at all times. Her legal team was helpful and kept me current on my case. I did not have to initiate any calls asking for updates. This was a very tough and dark time in my life and I am glad I had these people on my side. They walked me through it all.
