Trying to find a lawyer/attorney that we could #1: afford but also #2: that wasn’t just taking our money w out believing in me and my case was very difficult and scary. And even though I know that in my case, the judge should definitely side w me, you just never really know what the judgement will ul...timately be when dealing w family law. But Colleen has definitely made me feel the most confident that I’ve ever felt in the past 7+ years of dealing w family law and my custody arrangement w my ex husband. She hasn’t given me a false sense of hope at all and she has never once said “I’m going to win this for you”. But what she has done is given me a game plan of what to expect and what she was going to do on behalf of myself, but more importantly, on behalf of my daughter. This game plan and the fact that I don’t have to really say anything or do anything other than show up and maybe answer a few questions from the judge is the biggest relief for me and my family. I’ve always done all my own paperwork and represented myself during the countless custody court hearings between my ex and I over the past 7 years, but now that I’ve had Colleen and her entire team working on my case, I can say hands down it’s well worth the money. Just the sheer peace of mind that they have given me w me not having to deal w all the paperwork and having my ex served and the open communication that they have with me and the fact that I can call or email at anytime without being charged any extra and the fact that they always get back to me in a timely manner is absolutely amazing. And when I did have some concern at first about the original lawyer that was representing me, they not only listened to my concerns, but they also didn’t give me any BS that would have made me feel like “dam, I’m screwed now”. And then after I voiced my concerns, they acted promptly and gave me a new lawyer (Colleen) which was completely unexpected yet I was pleasantly relieved. This team is all about doing everything they can in their power to do right by my family but more importantly, they want what’s best for my 7 year old daughter and they show that by truly listening, asking questions, setting a game plan and communicating. Thank you so much to Colleen and the entire team for giving us the best chance possible to do what’s in the best interest for my daughter.
